#120, 122 (zolaman) - I like the cursive font, and I like the wood planks (but they are a bit too "Disneyland Log Jammer ride" for what I'd really love). I'd say "Classix" should be a bit larger so it reads more like a part of the full festival name with "Woodshop." Also, the hammer you've used appears to be a judge's gavel, and not a woodworking tool of any kind. Finally, it's disturbing that you have a shutterstock watermark on your new wooden beer mug-- are all of these images in your design just co-opted items from royalty-free image sites? Not exactly what I was hoping for in an original logo, particularly for the glass itself.
I apologize if any of my comments come off as insensitive, unappreciative, or harsh. I am just trying to provide clear direction, and this is my first time going through this process. I appreciate all of the effort by all contributing designers. You are clearly a very talented group of artists.
#118 is the design from last year's Woodshop 5.0 tasting, to give an idea of what I used before. It's obviously very crude, but an updating of that logo (with new fonts) would work. The rugged, rustic, hand-carved block-of-wood-as-beer-glass idea is something a few people have taken and ran with, and I still think that's the strongest image yet.
#20 - I like the woodgrain, block-face font for "Woodshop," but it's a little bit too cartoony as-is. And the glasses of beer don't stand out in any way. They are "just" nice glasses of beer. I need a unique symbol.
#55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 70, 79, 80, 87 - I like aspects of (most) all of your designs, but if you're going to have a glass of beer, it can't JUST be a glass of beer! There has to be something unique or interesting about it as an object and as an image. I cannot use a generic glass of beer as a logo. It doesn't stand out in the slightest, or suggest anything unique about the Woodshop.
#63, 64, 65, 66 (wdmpk) - All way too plain. This is basically spam. Same design posted multiple times, with no revision. And it bears little relation to my request anyway, with almost no effort towards any original image.
#48, 49, 56, 59, 61, 62 (zolaman) - I like your fonts, but don't like the four-leaf clover and don't like the crown (they're simply unrelated to anything else). Also, there is nothing unique or eye-catching about that glass. It's just a glass of beer. And you misspelled "Woodshop" on the revised designs.
Thanks for the feedback, cquiroga. For clarification: When you say "too cartoonish", are you referring to the overall design, or just specific elements of it (eg: foam)?
#13, 37, 38 - I like the direction you're going incorporating woodgrain into the design. The "W" glass is a unique image, but for some reason I'm not entirely sold on it yet. The single "W" reminds me a bit of the "W" hotels, and the Woodshop name has never really been abbreviated like that. But I do like it. Overall, I think these designs are too cartoonish right now. If you can dial back the exaggerated foam (look at the foam from your first mock-up on the beer mug-- that's what real foam looks like, but even THAT is a bit over-the-top). Also, the hops need some work. #37 is my favorite of yours, but I still want a fancier-looking "Classix" and the other tweaks I mentioned above. Thanks for your efforts!

And PLEASE use some kind of woodgrain or weathered look for your font for "Woodshop," and some kind of cursive or stylized, ornate font for "Classix."
