Can we see the 109th AW and the Joint Forces options with a navy blue background and also ALMOST in black and white (for printing on flyers with contrasting color schemes)
We would also like to see how the tag line looks below the logo, like in #72, so we can remove the tag line if desired.
Symbol in #89 is great... can we only see designs with the symbol to the left. Also please add options that include wording "joint forces wellness center" "Wellness Center" and "109 AW Wellness Center"
The shapes in #57, #51 and #32 are well liked, but preferred on a black background, since they otherwise seem too light, too airy, not masculine enough. #57, #52, #50, #48, (#43 and #25 - minus the leaves) are well liked as they are on a white background. Once again, the symbol is preferred to the left of the wording, rather than centered above.
#46 is also GREAT. You've followed the specs and updates perfectly. So now, just trying to highlight the word total... and we like the idea of maybe even using a black background for the symbol, but on a white advertisement or brochure or even webpage, we'd need some sort of boundary. Anyway that you can think to incorporate a background shape so it would look like a patch, or button or shield or something of that nature...or even an uneven edge of some sort...I think it would be neat to mount it on another shape that somehow implies wellness.
#49 -- LOVE IT! Could you make the figure reflective like the one in #48 and #47? The commander was also looking for a way we could highlight the word TOTAL, using italics, bold, or a different type or color shade. Could you show us an option for this with a black background as well? Thanks! It looks great.
So I have spoken with our wellness team and the commander and we have a consensus on a few key items. First, the colors are perfect in the blue, green and grey tones that we've been seeing. Second, the commander would like to change the slogan to "Promoting total health awareness", rather than whole health. Everyone seemed to prefer when the logo was on the left rather than centered over the writing. They liked the way #25 and #26 spread the lettering for the word center. Lastly, they preferred the symbol in #25 and #15 best as they looked the happiest and easily reflected a person, although the leaf in #25 would need to be cut out. I personally like the way that #25 has a contoured look to it. They would also love to be able to visually represent the 4 sectors of our program in some way, but would oversee it to keep the figure with a positive spin, rather than a completely abstract symbol.
So as a last step, I would say we just need to see a few more symbol options, with happy lively looking figures, perhaps even trying a few that are less abstract and look more like a real person, and going with anything else that you think can well represent a whole health approach. Or even a block divided in 4 sectors, with small images of a heart (to represent emotional), two hands shaking (to represent social), hands in prayer (for spiritual) and a bicep (to represent physical) is another option to jump off of. Again, feel free to work your magic :) We look forward to choosing a design!!
#27 is great. I think I like the bit of red actually. Catches the eye. Could that symbol be modified to have just 4 figures in the circle instead of 6?
The symbol in #22 is perfect. It displays a representation of a person and 4 sides, which again, we are going to 4 concepts of personal wellness. Social, emotional, physical and spiritual. I'd love if you would experiment with the color gradients, perhaps having each circle be slightly different. Could you also show an option incorporating the tag line "promoting whole health awareness"
I love the reflection on the bottom of the icon for designs #11, #12, #13, #14. However, I'm not sure the symbol works. We could certainly go with something abstract, where it's not necessarily a figure representation, however, a 4 sided symbol (or 4 spokes, corners, points, etc) would work best because of the 4 tenants we are building on. I would also like to see some options where the word Joint is used (although in smaller text), as we are most likely going to use the word in our final logo.
Revision: So far draft #5 is my favorite. I like the 3D approach and the gradients used in the wording. I think I prefer the blue and green colors in designs #3 and #7 and also the shape of the figure in #7. But the circle around the figure is great. I think it illustrates the whole person concept we are looking for.
So far draft #4 is my favorite. I like the 3D approach and the gradients used in the wording. I think I prefer the blue and green colors in designs 3 and 7 and also the shape of the figure in #7. But the circle around the figure is great. I think it illustrates the whole person concept we are looking for.
Just thought I'd add that the joint wellness center refers to the fact that this is a center for multiple branches of the armed forces....doesn't have anything to do with bones :)

However, the colors are a bit bold. I think we're looking for fewer different colors, more tones of the same color.
