  Upscale Imports Atlanta: LOGO

  Upscale Imports Atlanta

  No

Upscale Imports Atlanta is a start-up auto dealership that will sell new model luxury vehicles. I need a brand that will help us stand out from all the other many competitors in this industry.

As an individual, I always strive to be unique and innovative. I don't like following along with the crowd and doings things just because everyone else does it. I like to stand out, go against the grain and push the limits.

With that said, I would like a logo that hasn't been done before. I want something new and fresh. Something that is above average and sure to draw a lot of attention. I like creativity and I am pretty much giving designers a clean platform to be able to create and design a logo as far as their imagination will allow them to go.

I will say this, while brainstorming about ideas I knew that I wanted "UPSCALE" and maybe even possibly "IMPORTS" to be the major component(s) of the design. Maybe the word "UPSCALE" to be the major focus of the logo and have the words "IMPORTS" and "ATLANTA" be the minor components or have both "UPSCALE" and "IMPORTS" as the major components of the logo and have "ATLANTA" to be a minor focus of the logo. I would like to see how both of those ideas work.

Also, when I thought of the word upscale I immediately think of shiny diamonds. So I thought that maybe I could jazz up the logo with some type of shiny effect or something dramatic to give it a upscale, luxurious feel to it.

One day after brainstorming ideas about this logo I came across an ad in a magazine that fit the idea of what I had been thinking of about the dramatization of the logo. Designers can use this website as inspiration: "http://www.lorealparisacademy.com"

Their logo is pretty much what I'm looking for. I don't like to copy or be like anyone else but this was to some extent the image I had in mind and when I saw this ad in a magazine I instantly thought of my brainstorming ideas and knew this was going to be what I used as a visual for someone to understand the design concept I have in mind.

I like the entire flow of the logo. I like how "L'OREAL" is the major focal point. I like how "PARIS" is the same material as "L'OREAL" put is smaller and sits under "L'OREAL". I like how "ACADEMY" is still apart of the logo put is set apart because it is not made up of the same material as the rest of the logo but the color scheme of "ACADEMY" still flows with the rest of the logo.

I like the gold look they have going on but I would like to see what silver would look like with my logo. I would like to see gold as well but I think silver would really look nice because of the shiny diamonds image I think of when I hear the word upscale.

Designers have free space to create something with a "wow-factor". Test your limits. See how far you can take this logo. Think outside the box and be as creative as possible.

I would also like to note that as business grows so will the need to upgrade the image of the business. I also have other projects that I'm working on and those too will need identities. It would be ideal for me to be able to work with one individual in the future who I know has the creative ability to produce something great. So may the best person win and depending on how great the winner does I may ask them to do many other projects for me as well. As business grows so does the amount I'm willing to pay because I believe business identification is highly important. This is only stage 1.

  Gold.
Silver.

These colors are preferred but are not required. I would like one color scheme. Either color scheme in gold or color scheme in silver. Not gold and silver mixed together.

Also, in reference to the website I provided for inspiration, I like how "ACADEMY" as a light and dark shade effect to it and how it matches the rest of the logo within the same color scheme (without being the exact same color)

Be creative and innovative. I checked the 'symbol' box for anyone who may have an idea of a good symbol to use with the logo. I have no limitations just present something HOT! and good!
