@lgraphics I like your designs. I like #28 just because it's different. When I see #28 I think of a construction company. How it looks like the parts of the word are being stacked on top of each other to form the word. I like it but maybe if my company was something besides luxury cars. #27 is decent as well. I don't really like the font choice of UPSCALE. Please continue to try something else if you would like. I clearly see you have potential.
@tonynabih Didn't really like the designs. If you can come up with something different try again. From this point I know that I like UPSCALE has the major focus and IMPORTS ATLANTA has the minor focus of the logo. Get creative with how you design UPSCALE. If you decide to try again.
@FontenotDesign I like what you presented but I would like to see what else you can come up with. I want UPSCALE to be the major focus and IMPORTS ATLANTA to be the minor focus. Add creativity to the word UPSCALE. I like #14 a lot because of the unique it carries.
DESIGNERS! Just so you know you are free to use any colors you would like. It's your platform. Create what you see. Play around with different font styles and layouts. It doesn't have to be the same blocky font and the logo doesn't have to be placed around like the other designs. If you see cursive when you think of upscale and luxury, go for it. If you see a different color scheme than gold or silver when you think of upscale and luxury, go for it. I've seen simple all day, now I want someone to do something more complex.
@aldila87 I really do appreciate how you created something that is completely different from the other designs. But it seems a bit messy for me. Try and clean it up. Take away that background of the "upscale" part and make it have a more professional image to it. Try again and see what you can come up with.
@CreativeAlys Also, in regards to #24 leave "Upscale" the way it is but change the font style of "Imports Atlanta". I would like to see Imports Atlanta have a style that goes with Upscale but it different and stands out a little more and doesn't mesh so well.
@CreativeAlys I like your new designs. But here's the problem...when I look at design #12 I can visualize that logo blown up on the wall in the main lobby behind my receptionist. It has a formal, corporate feel but at the same time it's kind of playful and unique. I think it has what I will call "professional swag" (ha.ha)
I don't get that same feeling with the new designs. You have to think about how I will be using this logo. This logo will be seen everywhere. It will be used on drive out tags after purchases, used as a sign placed on the building, formal letters, etc. I like your designs but at this point I need something a little more professional. Play around with the font a little bit. Try a different font style also think about taking off the arrow over the "U"
@lgraphics Nice. I like it. It's a bit standard to me compared to design #14 which is the one I really like so far. However, you have come up with something nice. I would like to see what else you could come up with it.
THE COMPETITION IS ON! I want to see who can compete with Draft #14. If you can produce something better than that, please submit your designs. 3 days left until I make a decision.
#13 I think I like the gold better only because it's brighter. If the silver could be brighter like #4 is, then it might be a harder decision for me to make. But right now, the silver has a dark silver look it instead of bright shiny silver.
@x3mart you have done good. #12 looks good with the sparkle detail. I may not have been really clear on the silver color but if you could change the color of the entire design to silver just so I can compare the gold design to a silver design.
#10-#11. Great job! This is something I've been waiting to see. You are definitely right on target. I see #11 has a sparkle detail on the arrow. I would like to see that come out more. Maybe have more sparkle or bling to it. I'm curious to see what it would look like in silver. Just curious to see what that would look like but you have produced something very nice. I could see this logo in my lobby on the wall behind the receptionist.
#5 & #9. It's a decent design like I said before but I'm looking for more. It's simple and mediocre. I don't like average. I want something kind of over the top and unique. Change your fonts to represent something more luxurious and try and do different things with it.
#6-#8. I don't really care for the frame shield idea. I get it but maybe if you took out the company name and just had the acronyms inside or the letter "U" and left the company name outside the shield and just used the shield as a symbol to go along with the company name. Try something that way because you're in the right direction.
#5 is good. I like the play on the fonts and how "Imports Atlanta" is highlighted. Pretty decent design. But I want something to "wow" me. I want the look to feel upscale.
Draft #4 is nice. I like the way it looks but I'm not sure I like the sparkle detail in the word UPSCALE. I would also like to see a play on other font styles. Some complexity to the designs might be nice.
