We're trying to get away from overt teardrops and are looking for something original that still gives a picture of what our company does... and what we do is develop and manufacture bio-refineries that convert organic waste into highway-grade fuel (not natural gas, solar or wind)
We really like how #64 gives a fresh look and encompasses what our company does but not in an overt way-we also like the colors used in #64. We like the font to be in capital letters with the U and F being slightly larger. We'd like to see if there are some other ideas leaning towards that direction (a logo that is stand alone, simple and directive)
One of the things we're trying to get away from is just a straight teardrop (that was our older logo) but we do like the creative use of some of the teardrops that are incorporated into some of these designs... and we really like how #'s 30, 40, 44 and 66 "tell a story".
We're going to go ahead and make some initial eliminations to show the direction we want to take as far as thematic design and rate the remaining designs.
Our number one priority is to "tell a story" within our design and there are several designs that do an excellent idea. This should give everyone an idea of the "theme" we're looking for... let us know if you have any questions...
Excellent start so far! I'll be getting together with our team today and going over the initial entries... will be getting back with some feedback very soon... very excited about the way this project's going.

I hope this gives a little insight...
