#37#38#39#40 I'm quite surprised. These are beautiful and iconic. These make me uncertain which ones (between mnorth and you) I like better. I like the font, the cutouts on the bottom of the b's are awesome. Could you remove the cutouts from the a's? That way, the b's look styled and more unique (as if it were a custom font)
I'm not a fan of the white/gray strikethrough/line through the font. I do like the subtle orange, hinting of fire.
The designs on black look so good that I'm even considering a black header again. I think (but it's really hard..) that I like the ones with the rings best (as they would be cool icons). However, the partiture is a bit more clear (recognizable from a distance) in the ringless versions. Perhaps there is a way the score could be a little bit more emphasized/abstracted/prevalent/present in the ring versions.
#32 nice and clean, but the representation gears too much towards a directory 'tab'. There are too much representations already.. (hotness, tabbasco, guitar, tablature, music etc)
#25 not bad at all. How about moving the fire to only underline the word 'hottest' in the tagline?
How would it look when only 'tabbas' or only 'co' had the red bubble?
#20, #21, #22: sorry if the word 'background' fuzzied the description I was trying to give. I actually meant the following. Look at the following page for example: http://web2list.com/logos/
I meant to 'encapsulate' the font with a background like the logos in the link: Digg, YouTube, Writely, Skype, Last.Fm, Feedburner etc. A whole colored background doesn't work as the pre-designed header where the logo will be in is light grey.
#19 cool idea, but the resemblance with the 'b' is gone at first sight. How about you try inverting the font and background? Make the font background red and the font white or black, like the 'tube' in Youtube or the Last.fm logo. Or use a unique font, try something creative with the font, as the fonts have been quite basic up until now.
Let me add to #14 that the burning key is really pretty.
I am however still wondering how a (single?) burning piece of sheet music would look with this prettyness.

There are a few brands and bars called tabasco with a bottle logo in my country already as well, that's why I wanted to stay away from the bottle. It's about the hotness and music/tabs/partiture, the fluid not so much.
#11, #13 & #14 good listeners. The fonts are way better.
#13 getting better. could you show me a version with a bit of darker red?
#14 love it. playful yet elegant. I'd like to see some shadows, and some variations without the green color (I know tabasco comes in green, but it doesn't really fit yet with the current gray/black/red page design)
#9 Nice idea. Could you make the font a bit more web2.0'ish? It looks quite formal now. I disliked the idea of the bottle when writing the brief but I realize that size of the bottle makes it easy to use as an icon as well.
#7 it's harder to read with the fire in the font.
I like your style. Could you create a version with the burning partiture?
I like #6 and #5. In #5, the 'b' however is quite strange. I like the color contrast between tabbas and co. The fires are nice but still fill a bit random. The touch of the orange line is nice. I'm curious how #5 would be with some tweaks and a different color scheme. Perhaps a red font. #6 looks good. nicely done, how about some subtle fire somewhere?
I'm still wondering how the burning partiture would look.
#1 and #2, very creative but a bit too much. Being a guitar AND a pepper AND a bomb. The font style and gradient with the orange feels a bit dated. #1 uses too much vertical screen space, I think keeping the logo on the left of the text is better. Could you try making the font more web2.0'y and aligning the subtext to the right of the icon instead of below it?
