Thank you for the submissions thus far. A majority of the submissions have come in looking extremely similar to the original site.
I am looking for more original - out-of-the box thinking based on strong user experience and ad optimisation. For example, you can go to the Google adsense site and see the various available sizes. https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2953032?hl=en I'd recommend: 720x90 and 300x250 as they are very popular sizes. You want to keep some of these ads above the fold. Put them too low on the page and they are not optimised.
The video thumbnails can differ in size also, even the video of the week can be small if its highlighted properly. I think from a user point of view, they prefer to have access to many videos on the page. What do you think?
Have fun with this, think out of the box and let's do something that is a fun user experience, but ads that they can see.
Please only use images provided by the project holder. If in case source of images has not been provided, you are requested to use images from “www.thinkstockphotos.com”.
Images used from any other website or source will not be accepted. In case you are using images from “www.thinkstockphotos.com”, please make sure to keep a record of image ID numbers as contest winners will be required to provide those ID's.
Furthermore, designers are requested only to use system fonts on all web design projects, files with non-system fonts will not be accepted.
DESIGNERS ARE STRICTLY ADVISED TO ABIDE TO THESE RULES. STRICT ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN IN CASE OF ANY VIOLATION.
