  to zillustrations: can you please try redoing #56 with some other options for font in "Red Onion" and "grill"? I like the picture, layout and color - I'm not 100% sure about the font now.

  to toccacemani: eventhough i like #29 and subsequent degins based on it, it does not fit our message - it feels more like a "diner" sign than a nice restaurant.

  to zillustrations: i really like #53, but for some reason I do not like the onion tilted to the left. can you keep the square as it is and tilt the onion back to the right? Also, I do not like the "est. 2009" in the square - could you put it underneath the text like #31? Could you also make another draft like #53, but with the square tilted just slightly (not 45 degrees)?

  I like both #29 & #23, but i would like to see them done in two colors (black and red) on white background - like #14 or #21

  to zillustrations: #8 might be good start. i dont like the knife and fork at all, and the onion should have more abstract and upscale look. There actually was contest here not too long ago for chinese restaurant called "Red Onion" as well (http://www.mycroburst.com/contests/beijing-red-onion-restaurant-management-llc) - I like the simple shape and two-color style in the entry #82 there. Maybe something like that in the square? Also not a big fan of the "western" font in the name, but i like the way the tagline looks.

  to toccacemani: #3 is better than #2. if you use diferent fonts in the name, "red onion" should be in the same font, "grill" could be different. i like the unique shape, but please keep in mind that the shape needs to be symetrical along vertical axis so hanging sign can be printed on both sides. I would like to use the fact we are located high in Sierra Nevada mountains, close to Lassen Volcanic National Park, and use maybe a silhouette of mountain range or shape of Mt. Lassen in background (please see www.copperrivergrill.com logo). The tag line could use a different font and more distinctive dividers - maybe stars? Also for a more "pub sign" feel maybe add "Est. 2009" somewhere.
