We tried to get in touch with the designers personally to tweak the existing designs and went to the extent of printing them on a sample paper advertisement to see what suited best. there were some designs which looked great on display but not on paper. That is when we started tweaking the design requirements .
the project was extended with the sole purpose where we have mentioned in the comments section that we required group color related blue and something related to our logo. The existing graphic is not detailed, we know. But then the final submission would be of, I hope. Moeover, the image would be tweaked by our designers to suit our need. And the worm, is more of the concept of a bird flying forward which would be again changed at our end to look like one.
We really look forward to working with logo design guru again and next time we would ensure that the mistakes committed by us in this project unknowingly would not be committed again.
We apologize to any designers who felt that their hard work is being rejected or not considered worthwhile. This is not the case.

I'm just typing on behalf of the people who have worked hard to come up with a quality designs and works just to be dumped by someone carrying a rasterized "worm-like" image from mars.(FYI raster based graphics are not allowed to be posted as entry).
The design could have come from the ones with high ratings so they could have tweaked their designs to fit what you're looking for. I thought that's the reason why this contest was extended. Nevertheless, I believe they could have made a better looking worm.

why would we guarantee the project in the first place if we didnt want to pay?
why is the resolution of the image an issue?
the final logo ould anyways be altered by our team.
why would indians come in to the pic?

its not the worms nor the resolution, please read the concept behind the logo. we have even informed the designers that the same logo could be worked upon or the same concept could be improved upon....

Admin should take action on the basis of design selected and check the IP of both username,if they found guilty..cease the payment.

it has been a great time discussing with different designers and different concepts!
The talent pool is great ! through out the project stage the diff. concepts compelled us to rethink on our product logo concept!draft 428 was selected as the winning design, precisely for this reason.
it has been a great journey and we whole heartily thank all the designers for participating and spending their valuable time on the project.
we wish to work with you guys again soon!

What great submissions!
We have the final list of drafts which match closely to our vision.
the concepts are great with specific changes.
the draft numbers are 238, 235, 209, 196, 120, 66, 7
Designers are requested to work on these draft concepts.
Individual designers would be sent specific changes required from these drafts...

we have rated drafts entries with 1 and 2 stars. We like the concept but if the execution can be more close to our earlier comments where we have posted the requirements, then we can review and rate them better
entries with 4 to 5 stars, please check and submit revised drafts. Some drafts have been submitted only once and no revisions are being submitted in spite of requests.
All the participants, please do have a look at designs submitted with 4 to 5 stars, as it is closer to how we like the logo...
no designer has used the group logo color recently in an appealing way. please do look at the drafts with stars, they have some concepts which if perfected can be the winning design.

As how much we appreciate the talent, we would like to convey that a lot of the drafts are very similar to each other with the same concept.
We strictly do not encourage the same.
We want to see new design concepts....
this would make it more challenging for us to review and get the final logo better.

since we have some idea regarding the design after looking at the drafts ... we are posting some ques for you to work on...
1) the colors to use can be focused on the group logo colors(available on our website www.kamachigroup.com) . also, the color of hot molten liqated on the liquid steel(link already provided) and the color of the tmt (link already provided)
2) the design should focus only on the word kothari and not on tmt. this request is bein repeated as many designers have concentrated on the design of tmt.
3) the font needs to be tight placed to look more rugged and display strength
4)in all drafts please post both italics and bold only text designs for better comparison
5) * important* please implement if the design can include the liquid metal flowing in between or through the letters and forming a tmt bar on which we can write the tagline....

We have also decided to evaluate designs on day basis and work on the best designs of the day with the designers. we feel this would help us evaluate better.

The pouring can form a tmt which can be incorporated in the design
