Color scheme - We would like to stay with the PCUSA blue, red and white color scheme (it can be viewed at http://oga.pcusa.org/permission.htm). It keeps us consistent and connected to the Presbyterian Church USA. Not sure if this would be considered a 2 or 3 color design. |

Font style - We would like it to be clean and modern, without the fancy curly cues, etc, but not a bold art deco. With or without embellishments (cross, church, etc)? - We believe that we want something - On the top of the list - the simplified PCUSA logo with the cross and the flames. The trick is keeping it clean and simple so it translates from the website to stationary, t-shirts, in color or grayscale, looks good large and small. We like the idea of somehow using circles - but do not want words going around a circle. Possibly something with motion to it. We also have a specific style cross on top of our church - that is also a possiblility for incorporation - it can be seen in video that is available on our website at www.svpc.org - video can be accessed on the icon in the right column. |
