It may or may not have an impact on the design, but I'm wondering which Spring Valley Presbyterian Church are you? Google lists OR, IL, SC and WV. Thanks.
Just to clarify - if you are using a cross - we are only interested in the PCUSA cross that can be viewed by following the link in the brief. There are rules about use of the PCUSA cross and one of them is that it cannot be altered. The primary color palette is also listed there.
We are looking for something unique that defines us and does not look like canned art that we could have put together on our own.
If stating that the whole logo is made up of an image and text... when you say you want the tag line to be a part of the logo... do you mean to say that you want it integrated graphically into the image itself, or is having it "under" the image itself ok? Or alternately, are you ok of just having it "around" somewhere in the entire logo?
#1 It looks like you didn't read the brief. We do not want words in circles and that is not the colors specified. The stars and the cross are a miss...it looks canned.
