  I appreciate your efforts, thanks a lot.
  
  There are a few good designs by now. I think the globe seems too big for my business. So forget about it!
  
  I found two things which inspired me for my logo:
  
  1. layers

  2. different (small) globes
  http://www.smartphone-daily.de/screenshots/original/2008/06/GoogleEarthLogo.JPG
  
  Both can be used instaed of the globe!
  
  I am curious to see your designs!

  # 36 + 37: good steps!! Try it without the ring. It has kind of a Saturn aspect...

  Focus on the globe! Or maybe another symbol which could stand for GIS.
  
  I still think it should be a combination of logo and fonts "pbs-geo".

  #25: too many elements, not logical.
  #24: I don't like the oramge spot, furthermore too similar
  
  Maybe you forget about the box/square...
  
  #23: OK, but too similar
  #22: quite good, but the pbs-geo seems to be to small

  The font could be less modern. I like the fonts of www.pbs-schumacher.de (logo) as it is very simple + clear. But other fonts are also possible...
  
  Furthermore I would prefer if the "pbs-geo" stands on the right side from the logo.
