Thank you all for your hard work and creativity. Top choices are being reviewed now. Each has distinctly different marketing possibilities. We should select a winner soon.
3-Star Designs: You're capturing the concept great. Each a little different. Please don't use block or square fonts. The more rounded or smooth fonts look better. We like the stretched fonts best, not tall fonts. The circle inside letter "A" is important now so keep that! What's missing is the "WOW" factor. Drama in the design that makes people stop and look. I need to convey motion and EMOTION. Something you want to stare at for a moment. This is the artistic part I cannot describe. It's in you, the artist. Can you help? -Any emotion: curiosity, shock, happiness, fear, etc.
Draft #81 + #91 These are creative but the symbol is confusing. The fonts are distracting so I don't get a brand impact or association from the symbol. Some of your other work is great. Can you think about those a bit and revise?
Draft #89 Like the creativity joining some fonts together. Metallic and slick colors are good. The symbol on the left needs work because it doesn't reflect anything about our company or technology. Also, the arrows make it look like an "S" when shown in grey. Can you revise some changes to improve?
Draft #84 This is great. The circle suggests motion but is simple. I love adding the dot in the letter "A". Changing to a bright, stainless steel metallic and glossy, wet candy in 3D will get the tone correct.
Draft #77 I like how you blend the name with a symbol. I don't like the symbol but something reflecting the brief could work. Please use white background only. Shiny stainless steel look with bright, wet candy color. 3D required. Shadowing is fine though.
Draft #55 You were first to show me 3D color, metallic font and a symbol on the left. Great job! The symbol is busy and confusing so that needs revision. Try a few more examples on white background with some changes and I can suggest more. Metallic like shiny stainless steel.
Draft #57 & #56 I like the font if you change to bright aluminum in 3D. The symbol is confusing and doesn't make us think of our technology. Try a new symbol with color changes and place it on the left. No logos on top please.
Draft #60 - THIS is the right direction! Slick colors but change the fonts to bright aluminum in 3D with some depth. Put the symbol on the left, revise it to become the "O" and add more impact. Any "O" symbol should infer motion, technology, etc. but with bright color like you did. I like it.
Draft #22 Great direction! Aluminum plus bright color. The font needs to be a little easier to read and only submit white backgrounds. I don't understand how the symbol identifies us though. Red is NOT required. Blues, purples, neon green are all ok IF it looks like shiny, wet candy.
Please submit web 2.0 and 3D logo designs with bold color. Possibly light and shadowing with texture, motion, etc. Prefer any shapes not be on top but on the left side or incorporated as the "O" in Olaeris. The web template project (here immediately after selecting winner) will follow your design, colors and "feel". This is not only our logo but the initial image of our company. Alien. High tech. Jetsons (not cartoonish). Futuristic. Portal 2. Wall-e.
Draft #12 The "O" is unique but I get the impression it's a radio network. Not inspiring yet.
Draft #11 The black and white are out but the blue begins to go the right direction. It has a 3D look which we want. The "C" on top is irrelevant to our logo or name.
Draft #10 & #9 These are too flat and plain. Sorry.
Draft #8 Looks like a lightbulb. The colors are not exciting.
I appreciate your efforts and hope my honesty is not discouraging. As professionals, I'm sure you want honest feedback and don't take it personally. Star ratings will begin to show the direction we need.
Draft #4 Too boring and in B&W. It could be a bank.
Draft #5&6 Finally, some color! Doesn't convey motion or look like a web 2.0 or 3D image though. We are cutting edge technology never seen before. Like Steve Jobs said "the graphics should be so slick, you want to lick it."

DRAFT #2 No cameras, eyes, cross-hairs or subtle military icons. Where's the hint of motion? B&W is bland and scary. Definitely not Web 2.0
