| NikPix.ca is a photography business owned/operated by Nikola. Title is a play on words, alluding both to "Nik's Pictures" and "Nik's Picks", i.e. Nik's favourites. Business focuses on wedding/couple photogrpahy, but that should not be reflected in the logo: our unique proposition is that we're photography nerds: enthusiastic about photography at large; we engage in all forms of photography, it's what we do for fun, and we bring this excitement and energy to client's day. Our website: www.nikpix.ca my current business card: www.nikpix.ca/host/logo1.jpg samples of logos I like: www.nikpix.ca/host/logo2.jpg First few lines show the type of logos I prefer: simple & elegant, high contrast, few colours. Logo will be used on stationery and website, but also embedded/imposed over photographs; so at least one variant needs to look good both as black on light background, and white on dark background. The design element need not be complex, but it should be unique [i.e. not copied from collection or existing clipart], and ideally would be a bit quirky or relating in some way to name of company or the business itself. The two logos on bottom [catchingAmoment/Photocarrier] are alternative/additional idea: perhaps a stylized boy/youth representing Nikola, choosing pictures. | ||

- N and P should be capitalized. - .ca should be SMALLER, probably ~50% of the size of "NikPix" - shouldn't be too flowery/ornate - shouldn't be "NikPix.ca" with a random photo clipart added. As shown in examples, the additional symbol or graphic would hopefully relate in some way to the name, letters, or company, and must be 'from scratch'. - ideally it would have few strong colours, rather than a large number of primaries and gradients. It should stand out due to cleanenes of few lines rather than overwhelm with detail. |
