I've extended the project because there are still a few things I'm looking to see.
gungpran on #88 can you please make the following changes:
1) Make eyelashes thicker, longer
3) Thicker stem on globe
4) Change font on "Travel Plans" to a more block style font, without itallics.
Any other designs that meet specifications are still welcome.
19 novembre 2011 18:00 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Thank you for #86 zalds. Can you darken the pinks and purples and make the globe resemble a dandelion more? I'm not sure the concept is recognizable as is.
I really like the silhouette you used.
19 novembre 2011 17:55 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Changes that need to be made:
1) Woman needs to look like she is blowing (puckering lips)
2) More feminine eyelashes
3) Thicker stem on globe
4) Return to #39 dandelion seeds around globe (as it is, #75 doesn't resemble a dandelion enough).
5) Reverse colors on face/hand so that they are filled purple faded to pink instead of white, but keep the circular edging around the bottom of the image.
6) Lower the globe/dandelion & hand just a bit. It's ok if only the fingertips are shown.
We're getting very close. Thank you!!!!!

Gungpran- #57 is nice, but still not the right silhouette.
I was thinking something more similar to this:
http://depositphotos.com/3958056/stock-illustration-Silhouette-of-woman039s-face.html
See how the drawing ends just past her forehead and chin?
Here's 2 more examples: http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id=84022957
http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id=76301110
I want to keep the face & hand naturally proportionate to the enhanced size of the globe. The image of the face should resemble an adult woman with exaggerated eyelashes to pronounce her femininity.
I would like to keep the circular edging that you did in #39 around the image.
Can you blur the lines around the globe so that they appear more fuzzy?
17 novembre 2011 11:48 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
52-55 are very nice drawings and I find them appealing, however they aren't quite what I'm looking for in this instance. I really like the concept though, thank you for the submissions.
I had another thought about the proportions of this project. To keep it simple and well understood, I'd like to see the globe larger.
In order to do that & still keep the proportions accurate, I think we need to use just the forehead to chin portion of the face and maybe just the fingers instead of the whole hand. Essentially, we're just zooming in on the image so the globe is more distinguishable.
Also, I still think it's best to eliminate the tag line from the logo, as it will be very hard to read when the logo is printed in smaller sizes.
17 novembre 2011 10:25 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
I am simply AMAZED!!! This is so wonderful, thank you!
39 & 46 are just how I imagined them to be. And 35 & 43 are exactly what I was looking for before considering the dandelion concept. Now I can't decide which I like best.
48 combines the 2 ideas, which is interesting, but hard to make out unless you know what you're looking at. Maybe that can be developed a little further?
I'm leaning towards #39 at the moment. I like how the face is tilted upward. I like how the seeds flow with the W, can we add more of them? Also, can I see the face as a Woman rather than a child? I think she should be more mature, since those who buy my services are brides, moms and wives.
I prefer how the dandelion stem is bent in 46, it looks more natural than in 39. However, her head tilt looks very unnatural and the dandelion seeds do as well. The seeds seem to collide into the W rather than blend into it or blow past it, which is what I would like to see.
I really like the direction we are headed in now!

My apologies for not doing a better job of explaining what I was looking for until now. I think I've developed the concept in a way that hopefully clarifies.
I would really like to see a silhouette profile of a feminine face or hand blowing a dandelion into the wind. However the dandelion is actually a globe on a stem.
I'm not sure if this will look best in solid black, or maybe dark purple (almost black) that lightens and fades into the pink of the text as the dandelion seeds float away?
An example can be seen here: http://www.crestock.com/image/3060502-Blowing-dandelion.aspx
or here:

Zalds in regards to #31, I like the globe, thank you.
I would like to see more of the pink swirls, but make them tangle and twist as they swirl off the globe and into the W (in a pretty, not messy way).
The stars are nice. The fonts are reasonable.
I worry about the gold background, I understand why you did that, because my current logo is on a gold banner on my website. However I intend to use this logo for multiple purposes, so could you please set it to a white background?
16 novembre 2011 17:07 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Sorry, I readded them for your reference, but please note that the only design that is remotely close to what I'm looking for is #1.
Changes required for #1 would simply be:
1) Remove tag line
2) Gold lines around the globe should look more like original logo found at www.wonderlustplans.com
16 novembre 2011 11:35 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
To danclav, thank you for your continued effort.
One more time...
* NO ORBIT around the globe. I DO NOT sell outter space.
* Please remove the tag line
* The color scheme is Pink/Purle, Black & Gold. NO BLUE. NO GREEN.
* I prefer the font in #29. The font in #28 is not legible.

The designs submitted recently are sooooooooooo completely far from what I'm looking for, that I had to just eliminate them.
I'm hoping we can just start over. Please take the time to read my brief and comments. If you care to follow those directions, then please submit a design, if not- please don't bother.
The remaining 2 designs are in the ballpark of what I'm looking for, but only 1/2 way developed.
Please continue working from this starting point. Thank you!
16 novembre 2011 11:12 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Please, please read my previous comments before submitting designs...
The design I've requested MUST incorporate lines that flow off the globe to the RIGHT and morph into the word WONDERLUST. I will not accept any design that has lines circling the globe, this is exactly what I do NOT want, so please don't waste your time submitting them.
Has anyone looked at my current logo found at my website noted in the post below? So far I haven't seen anything better than what I already have, very disappointing.
Let's recap:
1) Remove tag line from design
2) I prefer the gold globe with reversed (white) continents
3) Add curling, windy lines flowing from globe into text
4) NO arrows, orbits or circular lines (see current logo for example)
15 novembre 2011 22:25 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Thank you for the new design Zalds. It's closer, but still missing the most important part...the swirly lines flowing off of the globe.
Can you look at my current logo found at wonderlustplans.com. I'm still waiting to see someone draw that type of swirly design off to the right of a globe.
Apparantly I'm not explaining what I'm looking for very well. I just don't know how else to explain it.
If you look at my current logo, I just want a globe in the middle instead of an atom. It would be nice if you could improve the design further, but for now I'd just take that much.
I appreciate your attempts very much.
15 novembre 2011 17:44 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Somehow my last comments did not post, so let me try again...
I must say, I really prefer the globe designs over the palm trees.
In addition to the globe premise, I'm still hoping to see a windy, twirly, sparkly design that represents "wonder" or "magic" to take motion off the globe and morph into the word Wonderlust somehow.
The logo I'm currently using (referenced in my brief) illustrates this best so far. I envision it to look something like if you had a palm full of glitter and blew it out of your hand. Can someone draw what that would look like?
This should be done in a way that does NOT circle the globe, but rather JUMPS OFF of it, therefore the design will NOT be symmetrical, but rather take motion to the right.
The logo should be feminine, elegant and mature, as #'s 1, 2, 10 & 15 appear. They just need to be tweaked and developed a bit more in the direction noted above.
Again, thank you all so very much and please keep them coming!
15 novembre 2011 10:05 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
I also like the stars you incorporated in #2 gungpran.
15 novembre 2011 10:04 wonderlust Porteur du Projet
Wow, now we're getting started. Thank you all for your designs, here is my honest feedback.
Although the palm trees are cute, they negate the world/earth/globe which is the basis of this logo,so I'd like to leave them out.
It's important that Wonderlust be in a script font, the CAPITAL font doesn't work there. However that font would work for TRAVEL PLANS.
The clouds over the world don't speak enough "wonder." I need something more like my current logo, if you'll reference that. The difference being that the center of the design is a globe or world.
I can't come up with another word that describes what I'm thinking better than "swirl." Rather than circling the world (this gives a Saturn or outer space feel which is not where I'm headed), the swirl should come shooting off the world into my brand, Wonderlust. I'm not sure it's possible, but if so, I would like to see the swirls from the world morph into the word "Wonderlust." The idea behind this, if it helps, is that we take the wonder of the world and package it into a vacation for the client.
So far #1 is the closest to what I'm looking for, but the swirl should be redrawn.
I think the tag line needs to come out of the design, as it is complicating things and really too hard to read anyhow.
I like the color scheme of #10. I like the globe that gungpran is using best. #11 uses a nice wispy font that I like, but it may need to be bolder in order to be visible from a distance.
Thank you all for your work so far.

Thank you gungpran for the very first draft. This is a good start. I like the globe & the way you reversed color to have the continents show up. I'm not crazy about the direction of the swirls coming off the world, it looks too much like a dust storm. I wonder if you could make it more of a "tinker bell" effect (if you recall from Peter Pan). I'd like to see the swirls be uniform in their direction, like a comet or fireworks, but then blend into the script of the word Wonderlust.
