| Auto Evolution is a new brand that is to be launched in the UK on April 1st [this is not a Fools Day joke!] Auto Evolution will be launching 3 lines to do with Auto Care. These are: Repairs [such as bumper scuff repairs, curb damage and corrosion repairs on, alloy wheels windscreen chips etc], Remaps [also known as Chip Tuning], Products [polishes, waxes etc]. Later on in 2011 it is envisaged that the brand will also launch a window tinting service for its clients as well as branching out into the building of garage floors [think of Jay Leno's garage floor and you'll know the type of nice flooring i'm thinking of]. So we're really aiming at being unique in the UK in that we're more than just a one trick pony such as those that only focus on retail, or SMART repairs, or chip tuning etc. | ||

As evolution is about progression, motion, etc, it's important the logo text/font reflects this and is not old fashioned looking. The logo text/ emblem is to work on both a white background and a black background. The logo/emblem will also be used on the side of our vans [as all our services/repairs are mobile] as well as our letterhead and as such needs to be easily read on the smaller scale as well as the larger scale. What I'm not looking for is a sheild type emblem [such as Porsche or Ferrari] or anything that looks as though we're promoting some form of motor sport. Also, the enblem itself needs to be instantly recognisable as being auto related without looking like we're selling parts [so no emblems of pistons or conrods etc please]. I like the idea of a simple shilouette of a sporty car with the text within it [but you're the designers and I'll give you the creative freedom you need to help steer me]. The Intel logo is a great example of what i'm trying to get at here. I've seen the following shiloette on this website and love it's simplicity. I like simple logos rather than complicated ones. http://en.fotolia.com/id/28733071 I also like the idea of a liquid aluminimum style text and love the use of colour within text that i've seen. For example another client on this forum 'Sigmus' put up a competition for 'Adaptive Automotive'. and design numbers 136 and 158 for that competition are good examples of text, logo, colour that I emphasise what i'm trying to say above.
