Right now #38 and #39 are the front runners. We would like something with a picture of our engine in it. We have pretty much decided that the font we like is the one used in the proofs mentioned. Please view our site to get images of our Galloway. It is our site and we took the pictures so do not worry about copyright on them. We would like to see cepia or black and white variations of these.
I like the red more than the green so far. I like the gradient transitions. I would like to see some examples modeled after an old machine nameplate. These were on a lot of equipment from the 1920's or so.
Here are a couple examples of the old style, engraved nameplates that used to be on many products. They were not just an identification tag but an advertisement for the company. Do a google search on engraved nameplates or historic nameplates etc..
Not sure I like the gear but the font looks better on the most recent submissions. Would like to see more options with burgandy or dark red as the primary color. More options on the graphic image.
I would like to see some more options with pictures related to manufacturing. In producing castings there are mill like buildings, foundry work, industrial like images not necessarily a finished product image. We do not want to be specifically tied to hit & miss engines. The font could be a little different. One font that comes to mind is Algerian or Castellar but a fancy script might work as well. A font that would reflect old industrial nameplates style. They had some fairly fancy fonts.
