105 & 106: Can you please use the color palette represented in #87? And can you please add Marketing & Public Relations underneath? I really need to see it in that final format before I can decide.
According to wiki:
A solstice is an astronomical event that happens twice each year when the Sun's apparent position in the sky, as viewed from Earth, reaches its northernmost or southernmost extremes. The name is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), because at the solstices, the Sun stands still in declination; that is, the apparent movement of the Sun's path north or south comes to a stop before reversing direction.
The term solstice can also be used in a broader sense, as the date (day) when this occurs. The solstices, together with the equinoxes, are connected with the seasons. In some cultures they are considered to start or separate the seasons, while in others they fall nearer the middle.
I've got one day left and I'm still struggling. I'm not sure why I'm being overloaded with stock icons. I have a designer on staff who could do that, and an account at shutterstock. What I'm hoping for is some creativity regarding the font choices and the inclusion of the icon. And I'm hoping to avoid the Windows colors please. Elegant. Feminine. Not hi-tech. Women-owned business and I'd like that to reflect in the logo please.
I am really hoping for some creativity in the font selection and color choices. I DON'T like a sans serif font as the primary brand identity. Too high-tech. I'd like something more elegant, but readable.
FYI - I think we finally decided to commit to Media Solstice as a company name. My apologies to those who have submitted for Italics Marketing. Please confine designs from now on to Media Solstice. Thanks!
