I am a professional photographer and create stylish, informal, bespoke portrait photography. Please see my website, http://www.wolfkettler.co.uk for details. At the centre is my approach to portraiture: I portray my sitters’ natural beauty without airbrushing, outdated setups and cheesy poses. I am passionate about the quality and style of my work and the quality of the finished products (e.g. prints, etc.). Whilst I have to try to be competitive, I do not want to court the “cheap and cheerful” market. The logo would have to work in different sizes, resolutions and media. I want to use it on my website and blog, printed stationery incl. business cards, print ads and watermarks (i.e. transparent background); possibly also vehicle graphics (but not sure about the latter). I like the idea of “my name is my bond”, which in this case should probably read “my name is my brand”. Please see “additional ideas” below for thoughts on style. |

| I think black and greys are my first choice, perhaps a slightly warm tone grey. The logo should also work in monochrome in black and inverted, which would allow me to use it as a watermark. | ||

I would like a clean, simple and un-cluttered design. No camera symbols, etc. One idea is a combination of an elegant serif and a sans serif font. Another is to perhaps use a handwriting/script font for part of the logo or for a graphic element. - Just ideas My favourite sans serif font is Syntax by Hans Eduard Meier but there are many others that I really like. I think that wide letter spacing can look very good. It is important that the term “photographer” (not photography!!) is not too small and is not overpowered by my name. The logo should be timeless.
