    Update:
    Some more points to cover:
    We like the idea of symbols representing MM that show changing or modifying.
    Also we want a symbol that is easy to identify at nearly any size (eg an icon).
    Details are fine and encouraged, but if there are too many edge's shapes it would be hard to distinguish the logo in icon/favicon sizes.

    I have my community do skype group chats with me and talk about each of the designs. I give 1 star to the designs we like as a group. As we approach the contest end we will increase the star ratings as needed.

    update:
    ideally for the logo symbol, we'd like some creative use of an abbreviation of our domain modymart as "MM" that looks elegant.
    ideally we'd like a red and black color scheme.
    we'd like a elegant design that has a general overall look that screams "High production value"

    I'm not sure we can be any more specific at this time.. links were added in a previous comment of current contests around the same price range that have many designs that we like as far as look and production quality.

    To avoid confusion I've eliminated many designs (some of which did not follow the brief as requested) to make more clear the type of designs we like so far.
    Right now that's #44 #27 #42 #43 #1 #24 #38
    Please improve these designs or use them for inspiration or develop a design you feel would be better for our brand. Thank you!

    I like #43 and #42
    in #43 it looks really universally applicable but does work for concept.
    in #42 thank you for including a stencil type concept too in the lower right corner, I appreciate that. I'll now start making more direct comments on each design.

    #38 's shield looks really cool, but a shield doesn't have any leeway to be interpreted as relevant to our branding concept/products.
    But the design is very cool, maybe the same kind of coolness factor can be applied to a different type of symbol that would make sense for our branding?

    #24 looks REALLY cool (and can also use the typography as a stencil on packaging so that design is on the right track) and I'm hoping for more ideas along that design path.
    I also like #27.
    Keep them coming, I really like that there's been more submissions today!

    To give general feedback,
    I really like the overall symmetry and balance of design #1 and I like the symmetry and flow of the typeface of #14.

    That's my feedback for all designs so far.
    Surprise me contestants! :)

    To be completely honest, yes I know the name of the site is totally lame. But it's the shortest name we could get that encompasses the terms marketplace and modification...
    So considering the campi-ness of the name.... a character logo might work...
    The feel should be cool(as in hey that's a awesome looking logo) but friendly.
    All ages type of demographic (except must be 13 and above because of COPPA laws).

    Also I'm getting a lot of hate mail because I said I'd "PREFER" to hire a fellow American to develop this... seems many of you don't like that.
    This project is open world wide...

    Attention Designers!!

    MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
