Thanks again for your incredibly talented offerings. We can see by the designs that have risen to the top that our feedback and directions have not always been consistent or accurate. Please accept our apologies. This is our first time. (Probably NOT the last!)
The designs we have preferred are modern, bold, colorful, and fairly abstract, yet convey a sense of connection & the spiritual, which is important in our work.
Only 17 hours remain. Within the next 9 hours we will be narrowing to top 3 for final selection. This will be VERY difficult. Thank you again for your dedication to the process and for willingness to revise and refine. We wish you all the best of luck!
Two days left! We have used the star system to identify designs in the running as we near the final cut by day's end tomorrow, where we narrow down to top 5. So, if you have a design with a 4 or 5 star rating, congratulations!
Again, we cannot say enough good things about your design talent and your willingness to work with non-artists, unschooled in design, to try to meet our requests, no matter how ignorant or silly they are.
We continue to invite new designs, as we are gluttons for punishment, and we wish to have as many options as possible.
Thank you designers for your incredibly talented work and dedication to the process. I wish we could pick several. This will be a very difficult process for us. We continue to receive new submissions and revisions.
We cannot express enough our appreciation for those of you who demonstrate willingness to revise and revise. I know sometimes our requests are difficult, ignorant of design principles, and/or unclear. Thanks for all of your efforts!!
Please do NOT limit to 3 colors. (As I recall the checklist for defining color said "3 or more" but I see that it is stated as 3 on the original brief. Sorry for the confusion.
We prefer to see the entire R.O.Y.G.B.I.V. spectrum of color represented in the design, whether in the symbol/illustration or in the lettering.
Thank you for the submissions so far.
Some direction now that we have seen a few:
We prefer a more modern, sophisticated style rather than traditional.
The design elements suggested in the brief need not be interpreted literally.
We prefer to include the colors of the spectrum, in some way, but they can be VERY muted or faint, as a rainbow is when it is just barely appearing; Even just a hint of it.
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
Re: draft #2
Good start. I like the clean, sophisticated look & the colors. What if the image was of hands in a supportive posture - fingers spread, facing upward, cupped as though supporting a baby or a precious object (rotate thumbs up, little fingers nearly parallel). Either from the perspective of one's own hands or of someone else's hands
Perhaps the letters of the word spectrum hold the color?

Ethereal, sparse is preferable to intense, dense.
