  Drafts #31 #32 Really like where this is going, just need to have something more in the design which visually says F1 - maybe chequered flag in O, but keeping 1 in the negative space? Please give it one more go.

  Hello everyone, Starting to see some good ideas coming through now….but no clear winner yet
  
  Draft #19 Can you try it in a few colour variation please, red & black is probably a bit too close to the F1 logo
  
  Draft #25 Intrigued with your design - How about a negative space 1 in the circle?

  Draft #15 the swoop is interfering with the word too much, try making the 1 bigger and the swoops represent the outline of an F1 car a little more - can we try it without the cyclist too?

  A couple of ideas guys, how about a simple 1 followed by two 0s to represent the wheels? Or how about 2 wheels where the 1 is the handle bars and the word Cycling is the chainrings, cranks, pedals a rear derailier?

  Hello and thanks to everyone who has submitted concepts so far. Some initial comments: If you are representing a bike then it should really look like a racing bike, easiest way to do this is by showing curved handlebars.
  
  Drafts #1 -5 maybe you could focus on the two two circular shapes representing the wheels and build the rest around that?
  
  Draft #6 I like your treatment of changing the i to a 1, maybe experiment a bit around that idea. There is also the possibility to explore negative space, chequered flag, wheels, circuits etc. etc, all elements which would re-enforce the link to F1? Maybe the word cycling could form a racing car or the trailing lines of the one in draft #6 for example could form a front wing and a rear wing. This approach probably will work best if it is something clever but not too obvious.
  
  Draft #8 Nice and clean, but not quite cool or clever enough yet perhaps.
