Connect the Men is a new not-for-profit corporation in California. Based on the work at BetterMen (see BetterMenCoaching.com) CTM’s vision is to create a men’s group in every neighborhood in North America…for now. To be the best men, fathers, husbands, and leaders they can be, men need the support of other men. To make that happen, CTM has created a certification process to train and certify men’s group leaders. CTM is first and foremost about accreditation and education. The certification process includes an Initiation into Manhood Weekend, leadership training, online curriculum, and hours leading groups. The audience for the certification process is men. But the greater audience includes women, who are our biggest supporters. They understand that men are relying too much on the support of their women, or no support at all. They know, what we believe, that to learn to be the best he can be, a man needs to be in the company of other men. We teach men to develop authentic and intimate relationships with themselves, other men, their families, and the world. We teach men the tools they need to be happy and successful in their relationships and in their lives. In addition to marketing our certification process to therapists, counselors, social workers, clergy, and laymen, CTM will also communicate the benefits of men’s groups to the general public through speaking, events, fundraisers, books, and social media. Nothing like this exists. Though there are men’s organizations doing similar work, no organization has ever marketed directly to the general public, nor have they offered a certification process enabling more men to lead other men, or to easily become a part of a men’s group. CTM will funnel men to existing CTM groups across North America to get the support they need to save their marriages, father their children, succeed at work, and to make our homes and communities better places to live. | ||

We’d like a strong mark that will eventually become synonymous with men’s groups, transformation for men, fathers and husbands, and a new and positive way to support our communities by supporting our men. We checked "Initial." We'd like a mark in addition to a treatment of the words. That mark could include the initials CTM. At the same time, we’re trying to keep our minds open to support the design process. |
