  Welcome designers, old and new, to try again!
  The issues of the last contest was that LDG believed (1) the Fleur de Lys and (2) the heraldic lions were too close to other designs, thus in danger of intellectual property infringement. Although we felt the Fleur was public domain (many govts and pvt parties using the same one) and the lion was completely different and original, we believe all designers must be very careful if they decide to incorporate any Fleur or Lion in their submissions to pass LDG's QA. Thanks for your attention!

  It's all looking very nice!! Thanks so much for listening to the public comments here and below. One last suggestion or design inspiration. We would like see some elements of the US Marine Corps-style Eagle, Globe and/or Anchor incorporated... at least 2 of 3 elements, especially the Eagle and Anchor. Optionally, a Fleur-de-lis (yellow on blue field) and an English flag cross (red on white) would be nice to see incorporated, but not necessary.

  NOTE: When making your design, please consider that we will be (1) embroidering on clothing (multiple colors with a lot of detail is possible) and (2) silk screening in one solid color (Puma, Nike, Ralph Lauren Polo)... Hence, it needs to look good and be recognizable in either a detailed graphic or in monotone graphic.. APPAREL is our industry sector...

  Thanks for your submissions... they are looking good. Here are a couple links to help you get closer to developing the final:
  
  1. Parachute, wings, crest, wording...
  This is only for an idea, but includes most of the general elements of what we are after... don't copy. Changes from example - Use different stylized wings from gothic to to clean modern.. use a traditional shield instead of square box... wording at top inside part of shield

  2. Shape of shield can be a little taller than the link. The letters 7PARA at the top portion of the shield..

  3. Inside of the Shield, i'd like to see 2 lions face-to-face or back-to-back + the 7PARA letters... hence, shield can be made taller.. instead of 2 lions, it can be 1 lion holding a sword... or a lion + crown above the parachute...

  MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.

  With this logo, we are hoping to get instant brand recognition amongst the brotherhood of all the world's AIRBORNE military special forces who have earned their elite JUMP WINGS (with parachute), yet adding some heraldry symbolism to make it unique and historical.
  
  Amongst the world's military, only AIRBORNE have earned the right to wear JUMP WING PARACHUTIST badges. They come in different shapes and shapes, but military personnel from one army to the next can easily recognize an "airborne" comrade-in-arms.
  
  Many in the military aspire to become elite Airborne Special Forces... so the logo is to inspire everyday folks and athletes do their best in sport and competition with the 7PARA logo on their sport apparel.

  Some design direction ideas/inspirations:
  
  1. Center Shield
  a. text "7PARA" inside top of shield
  b. Royal Lion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Royal_Arms_of_England_%281154-1189%29.svg), but with Wings and Crown added to avoid trademark issue
  
  2. Military Parachute Jump Wings can envelope both sides of the Shield, sort of like how the leaves frame Arsenal's logo: http://nu-tips.com/2011/08/16/new-arsenal-wallpaper-team-2011-and-logo/
  
  3. Parachute above shield, ropes disappearing behind shield, reappearing below shield.
  
  4. The plain text "COMMANDO" in a banner below the shield and wings.
  
  But of course, these are only my ideas that may NOT look good, and hoping to be blown away by one of your ideas..
