  Thank you all for you participation in my contest. I really was overwhelmed by your designs, it made it very difficult for me to pick a winner. So difficult that I had to pick 2 designs.   INSPIRATION: Hello Designers. Thought I would give you another bit of inspiration. Some of your designs are in the vein of what I'm looking for and some… I want you to look at it like this.
  
  The Cloud is a curse. It consumes everything, all you love, all you have built, all you dreams. The reason It Follows Is because you run, you run so hard to get away from it. Just so you can have a normal life like everyone else. But it always come, no matter what you do no matter where you go, and no matter how well you hide. You feel sad, you feel angry, you feel hopeless, because you know… It will find you, it always does.
  
  Thats the cloud I want in the logo. Not a happy one. Hope that helps

  CONTEST UPDATE: I have spoken with customer service. Seeing that we are at the half way point I have decided to eliminate those designs that do not meet the needs of the project. By that, hoping to draw in a few more designers before the final bell. I have read in the forums that designers do not like contest that are extended on and on, so I am trying not to do this. There are, in the designs submitted, a few that I am going to purchase whether or not they "win" the contest. These designs were so creative they inspired me in other areas of the "A Black Cloud Follows" project. If you have a 4 star rating you are either one of these or a finalist for the contest so hang in there. I have tried my best to give detailed feedback on all the submissions I have received, If you have not received feedback please contact me and I will get back to you ASAP. Thank you again for all of your submissions, the response has been overwhelming. Looking forward to working with you this last week.

  Ipart, unfortunately at this time I am in the studio recording the tracks for the debut album. I have many demo tracks but I don't have a copywriter on them yet so I don't let them out in the wild. Songs that are in the vein and that we cover are "Something I Can Never Have" & "Burn" NIN, "9 Crimes (Demo)" & "Rootless Tree" Damien Rice, "All I Need" Radiohead and "If I Was Your Vampire" Marilyn Manson. My work is a bit different than these artist but being a contemporary of these artists you could draw some parallels. This should give you some idea of the range of sounds that I use from acoustic to full on industrial, with a touch of classical orchestral for seasoning.

  You guys/and gals have turned out some amazing art, and though there will be only one winner, I will be speaking to customer service about buying some of the others also because you guys have blown my mind and there are other project you guys have filled on accident. Let me pose another idea for you for inspiration, everyone is doing the old raincloud and that is cool but there are other cloud and some that evoke even more emotion. There are factory clouds, mushroom clouds, and tornados (and tornados follow). So don't limit yourself, dare to impress. If it don't work for the logo I may pick it up anyway for something else. Just be creative

  Hello Designers, thank you for all the submissions, sorry it is taking me some time to get you feedback. I try to get every bodies work tested in front of a small group of people that know my project well. They are people that know music and bands and band merch, being fans of it or having worked in the field. This way I can get some unbiased (their money isn't on the table) reviews of your work and fair judgement of whether or not it does or doesn't represent my project accurately. The purpose of this logo is so that I may lay the ground work for a "Band Brand" (say that five times fast). In this age its just as important for a music group as for any corporation to have "brand identity". What i'm looking for that maybe i haven't been all that clear on is I want a logo that can stand beside a corporate logo and not feel out of place, also it needs to be just as comfortable in the music world. The Icon in the logo should be something that I can separate from the words and use by itself and still be recognizable as "A BLACK CLOUD FOLLOWS" much like rolling stones has their "lips" logo. McDonalds has the "Golden Arches", Wendie's has the "Red Head Girl Drawing", Queensryche has a BatDagger kinda thing that adorned t-shirts and later became jewelry, and Insane Clown Pose has "Hatchet Man". These are all very iconic symbols and if you know the band/ business and see the symbol you know what business/band it belongs to. Thats what i'm looking for here.

  Hello Designers. Thank you for all of your submissions. I would like to explain the way I score your work using the stars system, this way there is no misunderstandings. Everyone here is very talented and I am honored to work with artist of your caliber on this project. Therefore, I am not scoring you on your talent, but on whether or not the submitted design fits my need or not. 1 star means that the design is just not what I am looking for. 2 stars means that there are elements that I like but overall the design is still a miss. 3 stars, I like the design but there is something there that needs to be edited and or changed to fit my needs. 4 stars means the design has what it takes to be a finalist. 5 stars of course, is the winner. I again want to thank you for all of your hard work and I look forward to your further submissions.

  MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
