For Logo Design #27 - Looking lots better, still not sold on the icon above the text. I would prefer the text in Crossroads to be all caps letters, but the "C" needs to be bigger than all of the other letters. The R in the icon looks a little strange to me, would like to see some other schemes for the icon....
I think with simple font changes this could really start to take shape. The fonts currently do not say high end hotel to me, they seem like a childs font. Can you change these out and re-submit? I like a bold all caps font for "Crossroads" and I like the script fonts for the "Inn and Suites". I'm not sure the egg shape on the logo is the right way to go, I also think it needs some more elegant touchs to it, still a bit too simple - but I do think it is starting to get the right visual mass that it needs.
For Logo Design #4&5 - Design 4 looks like a face, and Design 5 looks like a baseball...not what I was looking for. The designs need to be more elegant and not so abstract.
For Logo Design #3- Getting much better, is starting to feel a bit more elegant, but it still has a ways to go. Not sure if I am sold on the logo design...Also, the C and the R (right next to eachother) in "Crossroads" looks like they are both capitalized....(Looks like CRossroads)...Should be "Crossroads"
For Logo Design #1 - Logo is a little too simple still, I do like that it plays off of the idea of the adjacent shopping center that is named "Crossroads Center", the font needs to be a little more elegant.

Here is the pylon sign that the winning logo will go on...

For the sign we will have to have the logo by itself, just as the H is on the left side, and then will have to have just the text on the other panel.
We will use the stacked logo (icon on top, words on bottom) for everything else though (t-shirt logo, monograms, etc).

You obviously did not read my description at all; I specifically said that I did not want to have two roads crossing in the logo...
