Jimmy may be right about the video camera idea, some people may misunderstand that. Thank you gizmo for trying nonetheless. I do appreciate everyones ideas so far. Thanks again
What I would say about your video camera and tripod idea, is that once you adding these into the composition is that you begin to complicate the message and you run the risk of communicating the wrong message e.g. specialising in the sale of golf training dvd's.
Also if you intend to use this logo for the rest of your career, then including an item of technology that very well be out of date in 10 or 15 years time will mean that your logo will also become outdated and you'll need to revamp it.
Let me know your thoughts and if you still want to incorporate this I can by all means come up with a few concepts for you.
Here is another idea. Someone might want to try incorporating the image of a video camera on a tripod somehow with the design. I commonly use a digital video camera place on a tripod to film students in my instruction. Just want to give you all some ideas to try that involve my business. Thanks again for all the hard work.
Designers:
I am thinking this might be a good idea for someone to try. I like the golfer being used to start the letter P in draft #2. That golfer is in his finish position. Also note: I like the golfer's finish pose in drafts 6 & 7 more than number 2. I was thinking maybe someone could do a golfer with a finish position similar to draft 6, use it on the letter P, and then maybe use a golfer in their setup position (when they are in their posture at address before they swing the club back)and blend it into the letter N somehow in Norwood. This would make 2 golfers positions being blended in with my name and might look neat. Just thought it might be worth a try. Thanks for the designs.
Some logos that might help for guides might be ones similar to models seen in Janabiyah Pilates Studio project. I how the logos have a solid human figure doing a pilates execise involved with the name. I am looking for something similar for golf. Although I do like all attempts for creativity. Thanks
Guys and Gals: Thanks for the early designs. I rated the logo appearances that I favor most so far. I do like the ones that integrate a golfer or golf related object with letters in my name. I think we are off to a good start. Thanks
