#34, refer back to the source pictures. I like the back row of feathers more than the front. Please lose the laurel. I'm looking for wings rather than individual feathers.

#29, that is exactly what I was trying to describe. Great draft. Can you try moving the banner below the cup and remove the shield. Good use of the requested font, can I see GL in the same banner in Dumbledor 1? Thanks.

    Attention Designers,

MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out.

    Thanks,

    MB/LDG Team

please exclude the belt and just focus on the cup and wings. Play with the name on a banner below the cup and wings. See below for the preferred fonts. Thanks

On fonts, also consider PR Celtic Narrow

For the logo font please try using Dumbledor 1 or Celtic Garamond the 2nd. I'm leaning towards Dumbledor 1.

#23, I am so digging the black. Thanks for switching off the color. I think it's much easier to see. I will write more soon.

#22, not sure where you were going with the wings, but relook the source material.

#20, looking forward to the black and white version. The space around the cup is still there can you "tuck" the wings behind the cup as though the cup were wearing the wings rather than sitting in front of them?

#18, great job on the cup. You actually rendered it more accurately than I was expecting. Can you remove the pitting? Also, can you move the wings up to behind the bowl up the cup? I'm looking for 23 feathers. Try working in just black and white, its the outline that is key to this project.

#15/16 I think the cup is the best element of the design, but I don't think the scallops on the bottom of the bowl will "read" well in black and white. Please switch to a black and white line drawing. I would like to see wings with only 23 feathers and making them less uniform would probably add to the project. Try to move the wings around like the source image.

#6 is getting a lot of good feedback. I think you got the space above the cup right with the wings coming just enough together without covering the top of the cup.
#14 I look forward to seeing this in black and white. The belt is good, but too much of a good thing. I would like to see belt look thinner, but the placement of the "Gabriel's Landing" on the belt is spot on. The cup on 14 has a larger base than the top which looks odd, focus on the source cups. Can you move the 23rd feather to one side or the other? I know its not balanced that way, but that's perfectly fine. There is a little purple on either side of the bowl of the cup. Can you move the wings to hide that? Lastly, play around with the font, I'm not crazy about the one being used. I think #14 is coming along really well.

After consideration, I have painstakingly drawn this drafts according to what I thought you wanted and I think they deserve more than 2 stars, I could keep going but I think I'm done. Thanks for the opportunity to enter you contest, good luck and may the best draft win!

#17, funky, and frankly I dig it, but its not right for the Tavern. I like the way you made your feathers. I think the black line reads well. Please curve them back around so they sweep up above the cup. I would like to see a little more detail on the cup for visual interest and change the perspective to slightly above. Also, I would like to see the image inside the belt loop, and play around with Fonts. I'm not crazy about the one used. Cheers!

Since you can't see eachothers work let me offer some thoughts. First, switch to a black line drawing without any color. If we can get that part right the rest is a cake walk. I'm looking for a drawing that wouldn't look out of place in the 1500's and the coloring make everything look way too modern.

    Cup:
Focus on the pics provided. I really like the perspecive of seeing the cup from slightly above so you can see into the cup a little bit. Most of you are already doing this. #17 was a funky perspecive and I get where you were going but please switch perspectives. The top of the cup should be deep enough to hold a little volume so avoid the martini looking cups.

    Wing:
I'm looking for 23 feathers that come to a point. Avoid running two down the stem of the glass. I know that's the way it looks in the stained glass, but it doesn't read well. I would also like to see more volume on the wings. So far everyone has gone pretty small on the wings, and I think it makes the composition look a little squashed.

Thanks for your efforts, and keep up the good work.

11, 10, good first draft, I can see where you were going. I like that the wings had pointy feathers, but I'm looking for 23 larger feathers rather than many smaller ones. Also, switch back to white or silver for the wings please.

9, 6, 5 I really like that you can see into the cup a little, so its not a straight on shot. The overall image looks a little squat to me. Good first draft on the cup. Re-look the cup images I just got posted. I really like both of those and the amount of detail that both have.

I'm trying to load a pic of the belt loop design that I would like as the surround for the image. I read a lot of old heraldry so I forget that its not a common image.

I would like to see two images; one of just the winged cup; and the second of the winged cup in the belt loop.

For the cup, I'm looking for a more ornate version, like a Chatholic Communion cup. I have a picture that I really like and I will try to get it loaded as well.

For the wings, I'm looking for more raptor looking feather. I would like them to come to a point and have some detail in black line that will stand out at a distance. Think medium detail and perhaps breaks in the blade of the feather, if that makes sense. Also, I'm looking for 23 feathers. It's to symbolize the first 23 members of the Airborne test platoon prior to WWII.

#1&2; for the cup, think fancy like a Chatholic communion cup. The wings should form a negative space above the cup. Stay very close to the provided example.
