...close, ojsgraphix, because you are copying ideas (logo elements) and techniques from everyone. Copying from other people is stealing. I am happy that certain project holders can actually perceive the original designer and chose them.
@mountainkids: I hope this design works out great on hats! Wishing you a successful event! I was happy to be a start to this logo work!
@mountainkids: I would go with #19 / #28. Nice and NOTE the protective helmet (which was part of your original request) is in place. The rider might not look good on the cap when all is done due to subtle lines - and this is true of all designs.
@prakashpawar: #20 is great, maybe you would outline mountains and just leave the rider as is (the size). It needs to be "embroiderable" and the only problem with that design is BLACK-filled mountains. Make 'em white.
draft #12 is very sharp looking, but we are checking with the embroiderer to see if he can construct it. draft #11 is very much what we are looking for. Can we see it in some more colors?
Font size is best at 24 pt (approx 1/4 inch)or larger.
The only pieces that we'd like to keep on the front of the hat is HIGHLANDS and/or MILESTONE RIDE +1. Could you incorporate the Milestone Ride to the left of your sign? Eliminate some of the mountain detail?
HIGHLANDS will be way too tiny for embroidery. I can leave +1 in the sign and add +1 to the main title
...just, as a kindly caring suggestion - PLZ check with your embroidery company as to how elaborate they can get and how much it will be for you before your finalize your choice
I surely can simplify the design.
And you always can go with the printing, which will be much less expensive.
There are way many good companies which can do really good printing job.
I am fearing for the outcome of embroidery. What is the total size of the embroidery and how many colors are they willing to use?
If I knew it, it would help to orient within the design and not to go too small on certain its parts.
#6 is a good start. The +1 within the sign is a cute idea, but the full ride name is Milestone Ride +1 and we'd like to not deviate from that. Maybe we can put HIGHLANDS within the sign? I can't determine the size of the smallest font, but it should not be smaller than 1/4 inch for our embroiderer.
