  i like #42 very very much. however, the picture has not been "fixed." if i was to use and print, the left side would fade out!! the most important thing i am looking for is that the pic i wanted be photoshopped or whatever you pros do, so that it would print correctly. thanks

  i really like the latest entries by grapica and ardesign. but, would like the pic of the concrete to be a little larger cuz it looks like a tile in the square crop. would like to show more of the pattern and keep the irregular shape but fix the left top corner where the light is reflecting.
  
  wife had an idea of writing Dominguez out in the pic of concrete. if the letters look like they are written in the stamped concrete that would be great!
  
  also, would like to add "General Contractor Concrete Specialist" to the logo

  again, thank you for your time but i want the pic that i referenced "fixed" and used like i asked for... ;( understand that most companies use something abstract (but #4 & #7 look like tile and brick instead of concrete to me) concrete is very hard to get across with symbols that's why i wanted you guys/gals to play with my picture. that's why i went through a lot of truoble to make the file downlaodable (if that is a word!)

  If you want to use the actual picture in your logo, it will not look very good on a small scale, it will lose definition and detail in most areas. Also, using an actual photo in a logo is not a common practice, even though I too like the photo and the concrete came out really well, my suggestion is to consider a logo that captures the qualities that the photo depicts of your work and highlights your name and your company,something like the logos that we have submitted. Most modern logos tend to be more abstract. Only my opinion, hopefully we can satisfy you in some way. Cheers!
