Hello Designers:
Thank you for the amazing contributions so far. It's the final day to submit designs. I will choose one (though difficult to do) tomorrow. Please email me if you have questions. Thanks.
Some clarification. I require a logo design that works on multiple media/forms, including website, correspondence, business cards, reports, etc.
I am fine with something that can be embellished with more than 2 colors, greater detail (e.g., the tree is beautiful in #10, 11, 12), 3D (for the website, let's say) and also looks great in black and white if need be. I imagine our chaplains wearing nice shirts with the logo embroidered or name tags with the logo.
Do not feel wed to a tree image. Feel free to convey caring and community in ways that speak to you once you've digested my brief and comments. Thanks.
Thank you for your contributions thus far. Very neat ideas.
I am "on the fence in terms of adding a tagline". IF it's not too much trouble, please submit one design with and one without.
I am not a fan of strong pink (in the designs with the dove) - I don't think it will work in the corporate world. Please go richer/deeper. My preference is to have plum as the dominant color. Please see my site chaplaincyservices.org as I've used plum in the header there.
Also, I'd appreciate designers to consider universal symbols of spirit (the dove is most closely associated with Christianity). It is critical that people know that my firm is open to all...
We offer compassionate care to people of all faiths and no faiths, including Protestantism (acknowledging the many denominations within), Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Judaism (Orthodox, Conservative/Masorti, Reform, Progressive, Humanist, Renewal), Buddhist (various schools and traditions), Hinduism, Islam, Sufism, Bahai, Science of Mind, Humanism, Agnosticism, Atheism and "spiritual but not religious", etc.
I am fine with more than 2 colors and something that could work with shadow/3D as well (for website) as well as a 2D logo that I would use in correspondence.

Thank you for your quick turnaround. Could you enlighten me on your concept a bit. What does your graphic represent?
