For #18 - quite a creative approach! I think it's well done, but a bit too much for what I'm looking for here. Perhaps a cleaner, compelling logo alternative design? And could you try the font in all caps, as well as shorter/wider font? Also just a reminder that this logo has to work on black as well as white and transparent for watermark. So probably can't use black text. Could you try a version with white text or light grey etc. Thanks.
Thanks very much for the new submissions. #13, #17 and #25 thank you but I'd prefer the fonts and logo designs to be more unique.
For #19 thru #24, these are quite interesting. Definitely getting better, both logo and font. I think the way you did 'photography' is creative but I'm thinking it may just be too small and perhaps better off if you spread the word out under the full width of my name above to make it easier to see. The font is better and I like all caps, but this font strikes me as computers/science-fiction ... would like one with strong lines but more classic. I think #22 and #24 are preferable to the other two... could you try darker versions of those colors, the font change I mentioned above. Could you try alternate versions of the logo with less of the circular bubble inside or trying one without that circle? Thanks again!
For #14 and #15, thank you but just a reminder that I'm not looking for any type of script fonts, and I prefer sans serif fonts. The logo is also a bit too busy. Thanks.
Thanks for the creative new submissions everyone! Here is some initial feedback...
While #8 is quite a nice design actually, it's unfortunately quite different than what I'm looking for... too much of a flourish, too feminine, etc. For #12 it's definitely getting better than #4; nothing bad about it ... but I don't love the icon or font
I'm quite liking #5/#6/#7, and also #9/#10/#11 are getting much closer to what I want.
Some thoughts on #5/#6/#7:
---------------------------
I like the creative idea to use my initials - very cool! But don't quite love it as it is... the lower curve on the P is too "sharp", angular. Could you perhaps try some other new/different ideas to do something with those initials?
For coloring I like #6 the best ... it's got a nice touch of color but not too much. I like the red/wine, would be nice to also see a version with the steel blue/gray
Could you show your new ones on a black background? (I will need to use it on white, and also transparent for the watermark, but my sites will most likely have a black/dark background)
Finally, perhaps another font variation to compare. I like this one ok, but maybe one that's even a bit more architectural looking ... also might be nice to see something where the letters are just a bit shorter and wider.
Some thoughts on #9/#10/#11:
---------------------------
I like the colors on #10, #11 ... might be good to see a version with the dark blue/steel blue/gray type color (I think perhaps I don't like orange)
I like how you did the stylized letter "H" - nice! I like this version of H, but don't love it as it is. Could you come up with other different variations of that H perhaps?
Could you try a font that's more "architectural", less rounded? also, I think I may prefer all capital letters (or perhaps a version with all capitals, but the H and the P are a little bit bigger than the others)
I'm liking the feel of the white/gray/red palette... (again perhaps to see a version with the red replaced by that blue). I like having some color somewhere but not too much.
Also could you show one of the new versions on a black background also?
Thank you all again for the great creative work... moving in the right direction!
Hello, and thank you loremipsum & designbits for a great start on some initial designs - I appreciate it. For drafts #1, #2, #3 ... I like the colors, but the wording is incorrect and the logo is not as clean and compelling as I'd like (hard to describe, sorry). Also the font is a bit ordinary - would prefer something more professional looking.
On draft #4, I like the overall layout but I'd make the same comment on font as above, plus I don't want any sort of script, handwritten, or curvy fonts. Perhaps worth taking a look at the reference sites in my Design Brief. The icon is also a bit plain, perhaps too simple.
Thanks again for the work and I'm eager to see more!
