  #28, #29, #31 - the gradients on the text are still off, something a little more solid like a glassy effect instead of a gradient might be better

  @Grafixnate - can i see it without the arrow and swirl on the logo? the font / text effect is perfect to me but i think the logo needs a little work, perhaps more curve to it? like #26

  #3 (text), #17 (text), #19 (logo) and #15 (logo) are the front runners at the moment for the reasons listed.
  
  I like the text style with the slice through it, however you think it's best to color the text and i think the direction for the symbol should be somewhat abstract with reference to the 3 headed dog (like the 3 lines in #19) or a warped C (like in #15).

  I love the symbol in #19 but perhaps for the black background version the circle should be white? i don't like the bubble effect on the black backgrounded part.
  
  Right now i think the text i want is from #3 (with the C as solid red) and #17, i definitely think thats the style i want (with the slice through the text)

  Is there any chance i can get some examples without wings? they all look good and i know theres wings on the old logo but it'd like to for a more unique look.
  
  All the designs have had the style i want so far though (clean/glossy/professional looking)

  I like how they're all identifiable and while they may not represent the meaning of their name, they're easily distinguished from the others and if you watch a few of their games it's easy to recognize them on other sites etc

  yes, we've used that in previous iterations of the logo, i've just never been able to find a good clean version that matches our style

  I love the revision work on #5. i think my two favorites right now are #3 and #5 but i just think it needs to be more identifiable than just a pair of wings if the words are ever taken away.

  I love the idea for the name in #3 but the wings are a little too soft a curved for my liking.
  
  I also really like #2 but i'm not sure about the mask and again the wings are a little soft.
  
  We're a gaming group that mainly plays First Person Shooters, games like Battlefield, CoD, Brink, Counterstrike and FireFall, the futuristic style to the actual logo would be great.
  
  On a side note, we're currently beta testing "FireFall (http://firefallthegame.com)" so i'd like to see how it looks with some direction taken from the art style there.

  I love how bold and "chunky" the coalition font looks but i think i'd prefer to lean towards this kind of font (http://i.imgur.com/YKDhs.png).

  I'd love to see entries that are totally new and different from the current design but i'd also like to see designs that are overhauled versions of the current design that that can be scaled down to fit within a square without warping (even if that means removing the wings).
  
  I also like to "Coalition" font (available on dafont) but anything chunky/futuristic/military styled works too.
