On #3, would you change the star to a "Texas Star" (Google Image it, the 6th result i believe), the one that is shaded on half of each point that makes it appear to be 3 dimensional. We like the designs with the big star in the background, but don't have room for it on a building sign.

Looking better!
Some additional comments are:
1. Is it possible to make the extra curly cues under the design and beside the steer head less fu-fu and more ranch-like? I don't know what that looks like, but maybe not as much. Maybe some iron fencing-like curls.
2. We will need a separate "brand" of 'CRH' so we can use it on shirts/ hats, etc. Can you make it look like an actual 'cattle brand'?
Getting closer! Once again we like the overall design concept, and the star in the background. Some changes we would okie to see are:
1. Change the star design to a 'Texas Star'. Google it and you will find it to be straighter and more prominent signifying strength. I like how you drew this star, but not the shape of it.
2. Move Denton, Texas back underneath the logo.
3. After making these changes submit a few designs with some more font choices. Please use the font from Design #3 as one of them.
We look forward to seeing what you come up with!!
Thanks, John

We like this! We like the steer head, the star placement and the outline of the logo, since we will be using this as the sign on our building also.
Some changes we would like to see are:
1. Cartwright's instead of Cartwright.
2. Eliminate any shading on the lettering, it makes it more difficult to read.
3. Please submit some design changes with different font styles. Maybe use some U.S. Western fonts.
4. Please submit any new designs without any background.
5. Make 'Ranch House' a little bigger.
6. Can you incorporate the first letter of each word (CRH) into a 'brand' design?
We like the look of this, but we're worried that 'Cartwright's' is too difficult to read because of its length. Also, can you change the star symbol? Google 'Texas Star' and see that it's a straight edge star. What kind of changes can you come up with?
We like the star, but not this font style. Can you choose a font that uses all capitals, maybe a western one? The entire name won't fit in the star, but maybe have it between 'Ranch' and 'House', under 'Cartwright's'
Design #8. This font doesn't look as good as the first (#3), so let's try another western font, trying not to be a thicker one. The inside of the circle around the star shouldn't outline the star.
Can you make another design that has a large star in the background with Cartwright's Ranch Housein the foreground?
Design #9
The font style is what we like, but not the black background or the blue font. Could you please do the same font on a light background using a brownish font?
Thanks
Good first draft. Let's try a different, western font. Also try a different star. Maybe one with a circle around it.
The brand looks good, change with the new font style. Note: don't use any 'rope' font, we want it to look neat, clean and professional, not 'country'.
Thanks!
