It was a difficult decision for me, in the end being torn between McClaura's #4 (which might have needed to have the double boomerangy thinggy centered horizontally) and Ketut's #64. I capitulated back and forth between the two, but have finally settled on ketut's #64 only because I had to make a decision today. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to exercise their collective creativity. It certainly a service that I will recommend and use again.
Hello again,
Well a flurry of entries towards the end, some great ideas - and in amongst these, we'll pick a winner tomorrow Aust EST, when I have had the opportunity to review with my colleague. We will run with one of the logos that we felt at 4 stars was close to our requirements. It was the first time I have used this service. It was an interesting process and we are thankful to everyone that participated. The idea of the "right" logo is entirely subjective. If we rated an image a 1 or 2 does not mean we did not appreciate the skill or concept, simply that for this requirement, did not meet our needs. Thanks again everyone - we'll be back. May you all win a few of these. It is a great concept.

By the site clock, there is about 13 hours remaining.Thank you to everyone who has taken time to participate. The has been some very creative work. Some a little wide of the brief and some creative elements shown. Under the terms of the Guarantee a winner will be chosen, but I must say none have been quite close enough to the brief, and or/ those that set out to emulate the sample may not have read the brief or looked at the draft sample closely enough.Of course, these things are subjective.
I have sent notes to the creators of the samples that we thought were closest to the mark, so we'll see how we go in the closing hours. Thank you all again for your efforts.
Sunday 26th Sept:
Thank you all again for your continued interest and efforts. There are some good elements emerging here.
My current preferences are marked with 3 stars.Generally Car (black) Net white, swoosh red with capital C&N only (rest lower case). I CANNOT really consider any with car outline elements as, again, a major competitor uses this element. The logos here that represent an evolution of the current version with a smaller, swoosh appeal like #4#17#18#22#25 - the white background works best for us (but should be transparent)
Just to enforce my point, the draft sample uploaded is close to what we want.I don't have the skills to make it production quality.

So far 25th Oct 8:28Am Australian Eastern Standard Time, we have received 9 drafts. Thank you to all that have taken the time to participate. The design draft #4 by McClaura is probably closest to the mark so far.
The designs featuring a car outline are too close to one of our competitor's concepts (as shown in the guideline doc linked from the brief). To make life easier for all.
Please see the attached rough version. Something like this IS what we are looking for. The red is not rich enough in my sample. Note the way the "r" nips into the "N". The best close interpretation of this, perhaps in slick Web 2.0 treatment will find favor. I hope this helps. By all means continue to offer any inspired alternatives!
