Campaign Logo - Transit Agency Director

  Zakhary Mallett

  We Deserve Better!

  Yes

I need a campaign logo that can be used for both my website AND for future yard signs. Per my web developer, the logo area on my website banner is 300px (W) by 125px (H). My future yard signs will be 24" (W) x 16" (H). The developed logo should be compatible with both of these.

I need a logo that calls out my name, Zakhary Mallett, with emphasis on my last name. It also needs to call out my campaign slogan, "We Deserve Better!" in italics. A replica of a commuter train, ideally similar to a real BART train (http://antiadvertisingagency.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/bart-train.jpg), should be included. It's inclusion in the logo should somehow suggest "coming" - that the train is coming and that Zakhary Mallett is coming with it! A simplified example is at this link (http://www.drexel.edu/oca/images/CGTSPS/Train%20of%20Thought%20Logo%20big.JPG).

The office that I am running for is BART District 7, and the election date is in November, 2012. Logo designers will have the discretion about whether or not to reference any of this information in the logo design. Examples: "Zakhary Mallett for BART District 7" or "Vote Zakhary Mallett for BART D7 in 2012" and so on. Include some or all of this information if you think it would be helpful; don't, if you think not. The best logo will win!

The colors that can be included should include a blue similar to #336699, black #000000, and a designer-selected shade of grey/silver. Some variation is allowed, but these are the main colors to be used.
