Dear Designers:
In retrospect, I probably should have mentioned it as a preference rather than a designer's discretion... Please include in your design a reference to the election. Among other examples:
"Vote Zakhary Mallett for BART D7"
"Zakhary Mallett for BART D7"
"Vote Zakhary Mallett for BART D7 in 2012"
"Zakhary Mallett for BART D7 in 2012"
When doing this, do not redundantly use my name. Just use my name from the main logo you create as the name for this statement. Consider Draft #1 and Draft #9.
Since this campaign logo will be used for yard signs and the like, passer-by's need to be able to make out the information and intent of the logo quickly (i.e., in passing). To achieve this, logos should probably have a 2D design or very minimal 3D effects. Draft #2 has a little too much 3D to it, I fear.
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
