Would like to see some ideas without the buffalo just to get everyone's creative side going. Keep with the subtle hops and barley but come up with something creative and outside the box.
I extended the competition by 3 days so keep the designs coming. I will be on travel for the next few days and therefore will provided limited comments. I will be sure to post plenty of feedback when I get back on Thursday.
I like the background style in #54 and #55. I also like the buffalo in those but its really small and hard to see. The snowy buffalo in #53 is really nice as well and how it is used in the logo. #49 has a nice overall style to it but not sure I love the way the buffalo was used.
I like the less aggressive buffalo would work better than the agressive bull like Buffalo. I am also starting to like a lot of the logos without the buffalo that integrate the hops and barley. I don't want to overwhelm the logo with the hops and barley though, subtle integration will work better. Here is a pic on the internet of a "snowy buffalo"

#4 and #5: I don't care much for the spin on using "Call" as an action. I do like some of the elements in the way the font was used. The old bar had a sign on the window in which the "C" on Call's was carried under the rest of the word. This might be an interesting idea to do with the C's in Call's and Craft.
I am not sure that I currently love the font right now. May work but I am also interested in seeing something less curly and more plain. The fonts used thus far (#2 and #3)seem to be too widely used.
Initial comments: I like use of the Buffalo #2, I think its a good tie back to the original location. I feel that a logo that fits into a rounder shape would be ideal and easier to transition to different media (shirts, hats, bottles caps,...) I am not a fan of the beer mugs (#3) as I don't want it to have the drinking bar chain feel but want to tie it to something unique that isn't as widely use for bar or brewerys logos. Good work though.

Do you want "Since 1946" included in the logo design? Thanks
