    Hello designers,

I sincerely appreciate all the efforts you have made in your design concepts. I think you are all very talented and that made this decision exceptionally hard. I thank you for all of your creativity and hard work. It has been a very exciting and interesting process.

    Best regards

    Hello designers,

I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate your hard work and know that this decision is going to be very tough!

However, I do unfortunately have some bad news. I recently discovered that one of the designers on this project has blatantly copied another designers hard work. I am very disappointed by this discovery and I know you will all feel the same. The designer who is in violation created these designs #67 #69 #155 #211 and the designer behind this copy fraud is username flatos [http://orders.logodesignguru.com/user/flatos].

As you can see this design actually had been one of my highest rated designs on this project so I am very happy to have discovered this information before the winner had been chosen. You can see where flatos stole his design concept from here: http://dribbble.com/shots/305371-Plant-Based-Apps and it is already being used by this company: http://www.plantbasedapps.com/

I specifically stated in my project title that this design was to be trademarked so obviously this would of become an issue had this discovery not been made.

However, a big thank you to all of the designers who created ORIGINAL work. You should all be proud of yourself for at least knowing that you did not have to stoop so low as to rip off another designers hard work.

    Best regards!

    Casey

#203 Sorry I wasn't specific enough. What I mean by changing the backround color to white is the bottom logo in the rectangle is green and I would need theat to be changed to white.

#203 That is exactly what I was talking about as far as having a circular design with the text in it and then the design with the text beside it. However, could you please make the backround color white instead of green? The backround color of my website is white so I would need the backround to be white as well.

    Hello timbyrne

Thank you for taking the time to ask some additional questions. It certainly shows your interest in this project and I welcome any other designers to do the same. I would be happy to answer any questions you all had for me.

Some of the products my company sells are as follows: soaps, body scrubs, body wash, body butters, body sprays, bath salts, bath oils, bath teas, facial cleansers, toners, masks, serums, lip balms, candles, room sprays, home fragrance, essential oils and perfumes.

All of our products contain no mineral oil, S.D. alcohols, synthetic fragrances or dyes. What we use for the aroma in our products are 100% pure & natural essential oils (basil, lemon, lime, tangerine, pink grapefruit, lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus, ginger, etc). How we add color to our products is through various fruit powders (blueberry, tomato, pumpkin, etc). This way we do not comprise the health of our clients skin and are only adding in beneficial ingredients that serve an additional purpose besides that of scent & color (for instance blueberry powder contains anti-oxidants which protects the skin, tomato contains a high percentage of lycopene which helps prevent the UV rays from the sun from damaging the skin, lemon essential oil not only is very uplifting but also helps lighten the skin from any hyper pigmentation). In our products you can find various oils from apricot kernel oil, kukui nut oil, argan oil to hazelnut oil. It really depends on the specific product as well as what skin concern my clients are trying to address as far as ingredients are concerned but I hope the above mentioned helped a little.

As far as the theme or target market of my clients is concerned they are generally very savvy and knowledgeable about the products and ingredients they are putting on their skin. They are not only buying this specific line because they have a skin concern they are trying to address but they know that by purchasing products from Organic Behavior they are giving to a reputable company that has a high standard of eco-sustainability. I would say if I had to classify my clients into two different categories there would be the group of clients that purchase my products for relaxation purposes (bath oils, bath salts, candles, etc) and the other group would be the clients that are more results orientated. So basically the first category you would likely find those clients shopping for my products at Whole Foods, natural health stores and other boutiques. The second category of clients you will most likely find them purchasing my products at a Salon or Spa, beauty store or online.

The biggest thing on the mind of my customer would be organic, natural and synthetic free handmade skin, bath and body products that are results orientated. They also are very aware of the environment and as an eco-conscious product line they are happy to purchase products that they know are recyclable, biodegradable and earth friendly.

What I would like my client to say about the product line is how effective the products are at addressing specific skin related concerns. I also would like them to be aware of how environmentally responsible and conscious we are as a company.

    Best regards

Hi, great feedback, it helps to hear what you think of designs, as everyone spends a lot of time on these projects, and with so little reward.

Do you have an actual list of real products you will sell?

Do you have an actual list of 'natural' ingredients your products feature?

Do you have any other theme or target, or can add to the target of educated wealthy women age 16-65?

What is the biggest thing on the mind of your customer?

What would you like customers to talk/say about your product line?

    Hi Designers,

    So many great designs!

I am really looking for something completely unexpected, unique and original. Something simple yet eye catching. I love the idea of a free handed design. Almost as if it was hand painted or drawn.

There are only a few days left so I really am hoping for something to blow me away. I have seen a lot of leaves, trees and flowers. While I suggested this idea and I do really like the concept I am really hoping to see more. I would love to see something perhaps not mentioned, something really unexpected.

I must stress originality, creativity and variation.

    Best regards

    Good Evening,

You have all come up with so many wonderful designs that I am going to have a very hard time deciding which design to choose!

Although I have requested for the design to be inside a circle (which I still very much like the idea of) I have come to realize that the text itself which reads my company name and/or tagline should be placed outside of the circular logo to the right. If I just have a circular logo it wont translate as well on a website and will look a bit off. Thats why I need the text to be outside of the circle and towards the right. This way it will translate much better onto a website then just a circle.

#97 I like your logo a lot however I do not like the leaf that is covering the bottom of the tree. The leaf makes it too distracting and takes away from the esthetic of the design.

#101 This is a perfect axample of what I was talking about above. I like the circular design to the left and I like the text on the right. This makes the logo the dimensions of a rectangle which will translate very well onto a website.

#102 #103 I really love the font you have chosen, as well as the dimensions of the design. I can see it translating very well as a logo on a website. I also really like the different colored line that breaks up the word organic & behavior.

#104 I like the simplicity and sophistication of this design.

#106 #107 I like the symbol with the initials O and B that has the little leaves growing out of the B. However the B is before the O so it kind of looks more like "BO" then "OB". When I think of "BO" I think of body odor, which is not really what I want my customers to be thinking about when purchasing my products.

#108 #109 I can tell you followed my suggestion and looked at the website:

    http://skin-one.com/shop-by-brand.html

I like the simplicity of the font as well as the concepts. I really love how you made a mock up of what the design would look like on a product. Any designer that does this gets extra points in my book. I would have to say out of the two designs I like #108 a little bit more. However, the leaf which is on the "O" looks like something I have seen somewhere else. This is my biggest critism because I absolutely need my logo to be original. I can not have any confusion with any other logo as this company logo is to be trademarked.

#111 I love the fact that you gave me a visual mock up of what the logo/design would look like on a product. However, I do not like the font you chose and I am not the biggest fan of the Hibiscus. It is nice looking but I would like something a bit more original and unique.

Thanks again for all your wonderful designs. I really hope you all take my feedback and amp up the designs you have already created. I want to see creativity, originality and something new. Dont be afraid to try something that hasn't been discussed.

Also to all the designers I really would like for you all to give me some more variations of your designs with the feedback I just gave in mind. The more variety of designs & more submissions the more likely you will be chosen as my top design.

    Best regards

    Also..

If you can do mock ups of what the design would look like on a product label like #46 #74 #76 then that helps me visualize not only my logo as a design on say a website but also incorporated into an actual label.

    Thank you

    Hello,

I have made my round of daily eliminations and ratings.

    Some feedback:

#72 I really like the font you used for the design as well as the choices of colors.

#73 #75 I really like the use of the birds in these concepts. They both look very natural and the logos really look as though they come to life.

#79 I absolutely love the font choice on this logo. This font captures the word organic very nicely. I especially enjoy the line that separates the word organic and behavior. I love the color choices you made in the line as well. I also really liked how you choose not to use the tagline and had the word behavior in all uppercase. I think its very subtle yet affective. One criticism however would be that the flower/pedals over the "o" in organic reminds me a lot like the Stop & Shop logo.

Here is a link to a website that carries a lot of various skin care / bath & body companies for inspiration (I encourage you all to head on over to this website. This will give you an idea of what my competitions logo, design and my demographic is):

    http://skin-one.com/shop-by-brand.html

I look forward to what you all have come up with! I am hoping to have at least 20 new designs by tomorrow. I can't wait to see what you all come up with next.

    Best regards

Here are a few additional suggestions (some ideas to perhaps spark some innovation and creativity). I would like to see someone create a logo that incorporates coral into the design. I also like the idea of a bird flying off into the sunset.

Here are some images for inspiration:

    http://www.imageenvision.com/clipart/56272-royalty-free-rf-clip-art-fall-tree-silhouetted-against-an-orange-sunset-with-falling-leaves-and-flying-birds-by-pushkin

    http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-2185834/stock-photo-red-sunset-and-flying-birds.html

I have to emphasize that I need the logo to look natural yet sophisticated. I want the logo to be original, I am seeing a lot of repetition. Some of these are looking rather generic and quite unoriginal. If I have seen it before it probably wont impress me.

Thanks for all of your continued efforts! I will be back to do my daily eliminations, ratings and feedback in approx. 8 hours time.

    Best regards

    Aloha,

I have made my daily eliminations and rated the designs that are left. I have some comments and suggestions.

#40 I enjoy your design, especially the circle around the tree. However, you have incorrectly spelt the company name. Could you please correctly spell the company name and work on a few different tree options? Could you make a tree to resemble something more like this: http://obeygiant.com/shows/duality-of-humanity/monkey-pod-stencil-collage-on-canvas ? I would also like to see a palm tree as an option.

#45 #46 #47 I really love how you gave me different color options as well as the mock ups to show me how my logo will look on labels and products. I also really like the idea of having my logo formed in a circle. It looks very appealing.

#46 This logo is very distinctive and memorable. I love the colors, the concept, and especially the design. I like the font style but I would like to see a few options with a different font. Also, if you look closely where the leaf is on the design it almost looks like it could perhaps be a bird. I like the idea that it could be interpreted as either a leaf or a bird. However, I would like to see the leaf adjusted just a very TINY bit to perhaps resemble a little more like a bird.

For the rest of the designers I appreciate all the work you have done thus far and I am very eager to see what else you come up with. Please don't get discouraged if I eliminated your design. Some of the ones were a little too basic, too bright or too busy. Perhaps you may want to read my design brief again. This is the opportunity for you all to step up your game and show me what you got. What I have come to realize so far is I like logos that are wrapped in a circle like #40 #45 #46 #47 . I also am really impressed with any designers that can show me various color options as well as mock ups of what the logo concept would look like on a label or product.

I will be back again tomorrow to make the daily eliminations, rate the designs and give feedback.

    Best regards

    Good day designers,

It has been fun seeing what you have all come up with thus far. I have made my first round of eliminations and rated all of the designs submitted. So far no one has blown me away. I am yearning for something interesting, unique and creative. What I do not want to see is text "Organic Behavior" with some simple flower or leaf. That is something that is too mundane and repetitive. I want to see a design that I have never seen before. Please really go outside the box and blow me away with something exceptional.

So far my favorite design of the bunch is design #14. I really like the tree and the colors however the font is not my favorite. One critique I would say about the tree however is it does not look like a native tree to Hawaii. Reminds me of a tree you would see in Boston, not somewhere tropical.

I look forward for the future submissions and plan on doing a daily elimination and rating of the designs submitted.

Thanks again for all your hard work!
