    thanks to all the designers that have submitted thus far:)

    besides personal comments that we have made about specific designs, the best that we can come up with to let you know what we are looking for is "less is more" with us...simplifying is the best and what we like the most... we do have some good stuff to choose from so far though, so thank you thus far...

    CherryPop- hope you got my message this morning about the second drafts and the changes we would love to see:) thanks!!

    lild3vil27- We love the color purple you used in draft #53:) it is a better purple than we originally chose...would you be able to simplify the outter shape for us to see?

    CherryPopDesign- We love the simplicity in #57. That font is our favorite so far of all the fonts... In some of your other designs you have used a swooped letter to then have a small picture like flowers and such, we really like that element to your designs...Would you be able to add a little something to draft #57 for us to see? such as a heart or a small cake of some sort, but along the lines of the designs you have done before. Thanks:)

    mikaela- if you are able to re-upload your pics that would be great, the thumbnail when we click on it is small and hard to see the detail.

    also, to all, an actual cake in the picture is not necessarily a must...we definetly like the more simple pics of cakes... we are not into too frilly of a cake on the logo, other swoopy drawings are nice, but a more simple cake design:) the name is much more important to us in being the focus of the logo than a picture..

    Fantastic latest entries everyone! We didn't want to comment too soon and stifle the creativity out there =)! The logos we are feeling the most are the ones by zillustrations and vwArt. We love the trellis work around the logo (think it gives it a sophisticated look) and the font for "A Sweet Passion."

    zillustrations - can we see #23 with no star in the cake and the trellis work being a bit thinner? And then maybe that same look without the cake in it? As for your the other entries... we love them! #28 and #31 are fantastic - love the diamonds in #24 (but only on the words) and love the trellis work in #25. We're still chatting about what variations (if any) we'd like to see on those!

    vwArt - (thanks for responding to my submission request!) can we see that same logo without the doily feel? Maybe a solid line around the name, a slightly different light pattern behind the words, and a switch up in colors (silver background, black trellis / border, plum lettering). We leave it up to you! We like the direction that logo is going in.

    For everyone - here is an example of a logo that we LOVE (http://www.cakegoodness.com/)! We like the idea of "Sweet" and "Passion" looking as if it's one word... but being separated by fonts and/or colors. We'd see "Sweet" being the more cutesie font and "Passion" being the more bold.

    Thanks everyone! bigred22 - our favorite of what you submitted is #8... but we think the "A" gets a bit lost on top of the cake. We also like the simpler cake version that MzgMegs provided in #4. MzgMegs - we'd like to see that logo without the black bands on the top & bottom - and perhaps moving the cake outside of the logo. The color should be plum (5B005B) - and we'd like to see the tag line in a non-cursive font.

    G3Estudio - thanks for the submission! Our colors are plum, black and silver (no blue/white). And we are strictly cakes - so no cupcakes or "bakers hat" references in the logo (not sure if what's there is a bakers hat or cupcake). Thanks!
