  I have put together some notes that may help inspire even greater creativity...
  
  Some notes about ‘Olympus’:
  -Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece
  -Mount Olympus is noted for its very rich flora
  -In Greek mythology Olympus was regarded as the ‘home’ of the Twelve Olympian gods of the ancient Greek world. The ‘Twelve Olympians’ gained their supremacy in the world of gods after ‘Zeus’ led his siblings to victory in war with the Titans
  -In Greek mythology, Zeus is the ‘Father of Gods and men’ who ruled the Olympians of Mount Olympus. He was the god of sky and thunder in Greek mythology. His symbols are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak
  -Olympus was not shaken by winds nor ever wet with rain, nor did snow fall upon it, but the airis outspread clear and cloudless, and over it hovered a radiant whiteness

  Thanks all for submitting your designs thus far.
  I feel the need to again repeat that we do NOT want something with a 'stock' "O" and "E" as the logo.
  If you are going to use "O" and "E", we would like something creative, otherwise use another symbol that signifies "Olympus" or "Events".

  Thank you all for your efforts.
  The creativity shown by flovey in designs #21 and #25 is heading in the right direction.
  These designs are are modern, creative and can connect with clients across multiple industries.
  Hopefully we can see more of the same by introducing different elements to the logo which go with the name 'Olympus Events'.

  Thank you to all designers for your efforts and submissions thus far. A majority of the designs include 'O' and 'E' which is good, however I would like to see some designs that use other elements. Perhaps a focus on sport and corporate events and some use of new colour schemes such as black/silver, black/gold will generate additional creativity and variety.
