  #2 - I like this look. Acheives a lot of the goals we are trying convey in the logo. The "e" in the logo seems to draw the majority of the attention. A better balance to emphasize the "L" for Lansing would be great. A rotation of the box 45 degrees may acheive this. Nice work.

  #5 - I like the look. A swap of the fill and shadow of the LE initials in the logo may highlight/emphasize the Lansing more and provide a spin off the existing company logo.
