maybe i wrote so much and you missed my first entry, or maybe you don't think the font of #65 works with the all caps for the interiors. either way, i like the font of #65 for the alden miller.
here is this info again:
"aldenmiller" in font of #65
"interiors" in font of #70
space out the "ill" in miller so it does not look so tight
i think the width of "interiors" should sit just inside of the width of "aldenmiller"
maybe a little more space between the graphic and the text so it is not crowded
THEN i think the gray background version is GOOD
can there be a white background version in color?: to do the shift i think having the "white palm" and the "alden" (that are now white) to be the gray value of the background of the dark background version. All else to remain the same.
i think the no color white version should be the exact grayscale of this white version. i like the no color dark background you have in #71
please let me know if these details are things that are worked out when a design is finalized and i will finalize it.
although i just looked more closely at the grayscale version you have on #70 and this looks very nice too. would like to see the grayscale of the tonal color change though.

The white background version: try having the "white palm" and the "alden" to be the gray value of the background of the dark background version. All else to remain the same.

#69 is SUPER because it centers my first name. i love that.
Font: i like the new "a".... and the "d" being a nice mirror. i find the "e" distracting, maybe it is just with the interiors also in this same font it is too much. i think i would still pick the font of #65.
the interiors should be a slim simple font (maybe not the same as my name) possibly caps?
i just got a phases of the moon, moon rising kind of feeling from the logo that i really liked. i am seeing how this logo could have some nice repetition as well with a subtle shift in the use of color. made me excited about the future branding this could have with the idea of transformations.
this is feeling like i need more to the font. i can see that the sharp thin lines provide contrast to the curvy logo, but i think i may need something softer. or maybe something bolder (someone suggested futura). i also like how alden miller is bigger than interiors, but i feel interiors is too small in all cases. also the width "alden miller" in one line feels disproportionate to the width of the "a" logo. ideas on this? maybe stack all three on top of each other to make things more compact.
maybe my suggestions are not the right solutions, but there needs to be something that connects the logo to the text below.
i like the bold nature of this graphic and how it also looks like an "A" but this is not as obvious. i really like how the repetition of this icon create a great pattern. i would use this pattern not as the "logo" but as a screen background for a lot of my branding package.
Color:
i like the color for both #63 and #64 A LOT. this has hit my pallet. for now i want to go with #63 direction.
concerns:
i envision a light screen of the pattern with one of the icons in a dark color. so is there a way to get the pattern do be a direct duplication of the logo, without tweaking it. like can there be two dots in the open white area and then there would be a line of dots across.
i don't mind the second diamond in the #33 version of the pattern in fact i think this is better than the solidness of #63. is there a way to tweak the single icon, so that the bigger diamond is another dot when in the pattern form so that the dots read all the way across, or does this not work.
is the upper dot in the #63 version closer than in the #33 version. if so, i like this better. if not, it just looks this way. i really don't want it to feel like a ying/yang and i think the spacing of the dots prevents this.
repetition has a lot to do with interior design so the individual "a" also becoming a cool pattern is very exciting for me.
COLOR
i like the blue green color schemes. can you add sage green into the mix. i like the ones where the main logo is all colors and the text is white and light gray (like #62). i like the background value of #62. i also like how in #62 the white is on the side of the graphic as the white letters and the gray is on the side of the miller. but ultimately i want the graphic all colors, so maybe this balance can be done with colors that are somewhat similar in value. the colors of the blues are good but i think i would like them with a bit less intensity (more white to them).
font:
i don't like #58, i like #62 font better than #16. can you do some more fonts that emphasize round qualities.
#16-#21: of all of these, I keep coming back to #16. I think I really like it but I was hoping to work some more with it to see if I can like it more. I like it most as the all white pattern with the blue background. I also would like to see the graphic on the left follows by my business name on the right (a long horizontal layout) and then maybe a thin line inbetween. I was thinking that the line would have the chance if reading a bit like an "a" when next to the circle graphic.
I am also still liking #18 but something is not quite right. Perhaps if the shape of the Individual parts were more mod. They seem kind of like leaves or something. I was also thinking we could put my initials (am) in the center in in an elegant way.

#22 I like the graphic with the weave pattern. I like the layout, I'd want to work on the color scheme.
#23 I realy like the stitch pattern boarder and I don't so much like the color thing with the name. I'd want the stitch thing to be more prominant. One idea I had was a lowercase "a" (the circle with the line on the side kind like you learn in gradeschool) where the stitch joins the circle to the line.
realizing i maybe should have checked "feminine". looking at #16, i like it because it is pretty. I don't know if it makes a difference but I am a woman and i although i don't need a feminine design, i don't want it to be too masculine.
however i also really like #9 and would like to see where it could go.
regarding #15, the pattern is getting interesting but i don't like the triangle. circle or rectangle better for me.
#7 thank you for trying the gear idea. i really like the idea but this look does not feel right for me.
#8 similar to #6 i like the simple modern look of this but i am interested in more that just my initials
#9 i like using just the "a" more than "a+m" i think. this might be a bit too modern construction company for me. perhaps softening the color a bit or adding more color or shades. i prefer the layout of the graphic on the left.
#5 i don't like the roundy capital "A" but i LOVE the shades of color. i also like the layout of the graphic on the left followed by my name.
#6 i really like the looks of this. looking for more of a horizontal layout and a bit more massing. i feel like i need a bit more that just a good looking "a+m". it needs to have another dimension. but something that is subtle not to literal.
#1 i don't think script is for me. a bit too wispy for my character. want my name "alden miller" to have more hierarchy than "interiors, etc."
#2 i like the layout of the graphic on the left followed by the text in a linear fashion. i like the font of my name. i like the use of lowercase. i don't like the graphic. the colors are a bit too strong (the blue is too teal, and the orange is to gold)
#3 there is part of me that likes this. although the art deco is not what i originally would have thought i wanted. i think the colors would need to be more classic like black and gray and maybe a pop of one modern color. still don't like these colors so much and i would like the icon to be less curly. could the mirrored a/m graphic be with lowercase, or made more edgy? perhaps it could be broken up into shades of a color (aqua) and appear a bit like mosaic tile work?
in general i like the emphasis on my name "alden miller" with the rest "interiors, interior design, etc." less emphasized. i am more into the letter "a" then a combo of the "a" and "m". i really want to emphasize the unique qualities of my first name. i like lowercase letters.
I may have been confused on what defines a logo when i filled out the brief. Ultimately i would like a symbol (that can be stamped) followed by my name. I thought the integration and layout of my business name with the logo symbol would be part of the business card process and that to start i just wanted to focus on the symbol. i am happy to see it with my business name because that is important, but I wanted to have a file that was the symbol only as well. As i have been thinking about my exact business name I realized that it is developing with the logo so that is why it is a bit TBD.

I am also still liking #18 but something is not quite right. Perhaps if the shape of the Individual parts were more mod. They seem kind of like leaves or something. I was also thinking we could put my initials (am) in the center in in an elegant way.
