My startup creates product lines for branding and promoting educational institutions (high schools, colleges/universities), semi-professional and professional sports teams. It is an academic and sports marketing company that promotes the brand of these entities through sales of apparel, memorabilia and other spirit wear. The name of the company/brand is "supporter gear". I registered the domain name "www.supportergear.com". I require a logo to be created that will exude school/team pride. The design should somehow demonstrate that quality, wearable products can be associated with the name "supporter gear". It should embody a sense of pride The design must be able to be put on garment hang tags or appear as a holographaphic image for apparel labels as well as form part of print and internet marketing campaigns. My company will produce and sell embroidered polo shirts, tee shirts, hoodies, scarves, replica soccer balls, pens, notebooks, school bags, foam fingers, wristbands, coffee cups and similar promotional products. My target consumer base will include school alumni, and team supporters and fans. The words "licensed products" should feature somewhere in the design but with less emphasis than "supporter gear". If you've attended a soccer (football) game and you're wearing a replica jersey of your favorite team, then my brand should be identified as a label on that product. Or, if you've spent years at a high school and decided to purchase a sweatshirt with the school name and logo on it, then my brand should appear as a label on part of that garment. Products will be sold via an online store and retail outlets in shopping malls. "Supporter Gear" isn't the best name in the world, and the markets I'm looking to sell into are largely outside of the US and would almost be virgin market spaces where a catchy design could help a weak name gain a foothold. I need a design to support my brand becoming synonymous with quality, novelty, shared experiences and community. |
