It will be very difficult for us to narrow it down as there are many nice designs on this project.
We appreciate so much for your effort and time, we will not make any more comment from now on but please keep us posted if you have any other ideas. We are still open for brand new concept as well such as airplane cartoon or pilot character or something totally unique!

Is it possible to make the main "A" design part symmetrical and still keep the airplane?

I like the addition of the airplane. Still would like to have the main star keep symmetrical..
How about bring the airplane part behind the logo? would that look better?

I like the stretched wing and makes the logo stand out and also good balance with the letters on the bottom.

The new logo will be used for company letter head, web site, flight school's window decal, cap, instructor's polo shirt, t-shirt, and airplane(vertical stabilizer section). When we consider we always think about how the logo will look on these materials. Some drafts are perfect on letter head but doesn't stand out on airplane or vice versa. We do like every one of them so far but also up for new concept as well such as Aviation animation or character, or label look(I saw a beer label design on this site and thought it was very nice). Charlie Bravo Aviation(refer to their website) has unique and classic logo to it and we like that kind of approach as well(like shadow of pilot with leather helmet, maybe?).

Like both color and design. Comparing to silver color drafts, the star looks somehow skinny and smaller maybe because of the color.
I wonder how it will look if the star gets stretched a bit to the side or keep the "A" and stretch the "side wing"...
Something totally different, how about putting small flying airplane behind the start kind of like the one from draft #4

We like these a lot. It's clean and strong impression.
We will be using our logo a lot on our letter head or many white background materials, wondering if silver will stand out or if you have any other color that can be used? Good design.

We like this (especially the logo part)because it is very simple. Not much fan of letter's font and color. Logo design is good but colors are bit busy?

Like the color, silver looks fresh and appropriate for today's era. Like the wings and center "A" symbol but overall looks like car brand, is it because of circle around? Thank you fo much for many of creative ideas and please keep trying.

Overall very nice design and it describes our business and has traditional and classic flavor to it. I really like the wing design but somewhat looks typical to flight school in the area. Check out competitors such as US Flight Academy or Wright Flyers Aviation. Maybe the A's can be characterized to some object?

Circle shape is something unique and looks good but it might be too simple. Not big fan of the star... How about modifying that area with some kind of pilot or airplane cartoon? Overall looks like campaign badge.

I personally like the concept and the font but my team thinks it's too futuristic(Even though I like futuristic design).
I do like the fact that it has a wing and shows professional "Flight Academy" impression.

Nice design over all but missing personality... Could use character or more aviation related item on it.
