Thank you all for submitting a logo design for us. We've narrowed it down to three designs. I have my pick, but I want to run it by several people at work. So, tomorrow I will select the winning design.
Thanks again. You are all so talented.

Someone in our office came up with a design sketch that I would like someone to take to a professional level if possible. Essentially it is very simply our name, on two lines, separated by a simple wave line with the sun at the
end of the wave line--kind of emerging from the line, not just put at the end of the line. LAKES REGION was top left of the wave line and REALTY was below the wave line right justied. Background was black, line was white (although I'd like to see in blue too and possibly and green to blue transition---land to water???), lettering was white and the sun a deep yellow. The tag line is something I will use based upon the application. So, ultimately with and without.
In having the name of the company on two lines, without REALTY immediately following LAKES REGION, the word REALTY was able to appear under the wave and to the right of the word LAKES, thereby saving some horizontal space.
Not sure if I've been clear here, but I've done my best in trying to explain.
I appreciate the designs submitted so far. I am asking people in my office to help me with a selection, so please don't withdraw any unique renderings. Thanks very much.

Sign will have to be read from a distance if possible.
Logo will appear on an internally illuminated 5' x 7' sign which is on a busy road. Straight site visibility and traffic moves at about 40 mph. So, simplicity ??

re: draft #4: We are in New Hampshire's lakes Region. Our lake is mostly lined in pine trees, no palm trees in NH. If landscapes are used, please keep this in mind.
Many thanks,
Jim
