#80 - BIMPOP, it was a close run with karent, but I prefer Karent's work in this case. It's a gut thing, but it just seems to work better with the brand image and value I want to portray. Many thanks for the hard work!

#137 - again, nice design... I would need it to be horizontal though to fit in with the website. In this case however I have already chosen my favorite. Thanks for the work though.

#134 - many thanks for these designs, really like them (based on a stupa, probably Borubudur?), but in this case its a bit too particular for the site as a large number of the World Heritage Sites are natural, forests, caves, that sort of thing. Nice work though.

Draft #34 and variation by lakshmiks is a winning design on a similar contest site, therefore has been taken down.

#58, #60, #80, #87 - I am glad to say that these are the final designs (unless someone creates an awesome brand new design at the last minute!). If you would like to make any additional last minute variations or tweaks to your designs, please do so now. Thanks to everyone else for the great work and efforts on this project!

#76 - prefer this version to the previous ones. Though I am not sure about the font now for 'Traveller'

#84 - unfortunately I will have to drop this concept as the patterns are simply too small and subtle to be seen at the size the logo will be on the page.

#57,#59,#60 - can I see these in a shade of red, and can you try the vertical break a little lighter?

#61 - love the design but it currently doesn't work with the website (see brief for URL) as it needs to be horizontally oriented

#73 - can you try putting a small cross piece at the top of the 2 diagonals, maybe give it a sense of being a 'T' as well as an 'H'. I like the font but I think its a little too sci-fi/futuristic, for this project.

#63 - I like the full length copy with the tagline & the 'Heritage' font is great but can you work on the icon a bit more, a few more ideas for that? I liked the direction you were going previously with the different patterns depending on site location... also, is there an alternative font for 'Traveller' you would choose?

#46 - thanks Karent, but I would like to avoid the web2 styling with the glossy highlighting on the icon and ground refelctions.

#29,#34,#39 - Like the simplicity and boldness. The cube shape on #29 is not quite there, would be good to try and get the T in there somehow without making it too complex or busy. Like the 'Heritage' font, not sure about the 'Traveller' font, looks a bit too modern. Maybe try using a serif font as well somewhere to give it a bit of classical.

#32 - not sure the font style on the cube is right, looks too squashed

#45 - need to work to get more design maturity into this.

#37 etc - by rainman, do not like this style, too flashy and shiny, the background is white as well, did you look at the brief and website?

#26 - sorry gaurav7, I appreciate your efforts but your design work is not at the standard I am looking for and the current effort clearly reproduces elements of the History Channel logo, rather than being influenced by it or other creative work.

#25 - not sure about this, the overlapping of the square does not look right, best to make the font size smaller and line break the 2 words maybe. Try a few different versions.

Pipsu - you are free to try any design you wish. The simplicity of the H in the square design is the most mature and strong contender so far. The goal here is for you to come up with your own design, not try to emulate anothers design in the belief that I would prefer that.

#24 - I think the idea of 12 and 13 were stronger so best work to develop that further. And yes, there is a strong resemblance to the History channel logo, but I can live with that.

  • March 10, 2011 7:27 AM DDesign

LOL Pipsu, you are right! :D

So we aim for the History Channel logo spin-off then?
