My remarks of today as follows:
draft #122: black instead of blue is indeed a better choice - please show examples with different font-types also for 'WELLWORKS'.
draft #120: nice ! - I like the reflexion - I was wondereing how it would work with the inclusion of 'wellworks, well services engineering & consultancy' - also how it would look on a white background.
draft #112-107: good red color - no large 'W' for first 'w' is indeed a better choice - please show examples with black background.
draft #96: please show variaties in size, line thickness, colors, no large 'W', etc.
Thanks,
Hello all,
Thanks for all the concepts. I have 'eliminated' the concepts that do not suit my business. For the other concepts my comments are as follows:
draft #80: font could be stronger, more modern - no green but red or blue.
draft #75: looks good in color as well as in b&w - suggest a less 'royal' atmosphere - color more red.
draft #73: looks good in b&w - not sure about the color version.
draft #72: original concept - good shades - less pointy at the ends would suit me better - should indeed indicate 2x tubes in a 'W' shape.
draft #67: strong and good font - would like to see examples in other colors - varieties in 'WW' symbol size and shape.
draft #66: well balanced concept - brown color coul be stronger - shoulb 'WW' not be more centralized above 2ns 'w' of Wellworks? - color varieties.
draft #61/62: Strong - please show red examples.
draft #40: strong logo - please show color variety.
draft #38: well balanced - complete concept - please show variety in colors.
draft #31: still attractive concept - 2ns 'w' in small caps - please show different color combinations and examples on white background (in stead of black).
Thanks
First, thanks for all the submissions. I am also interested to view the suggestions in black & white next to the color proposal. Comments that I have are as follows: #33: good, strong font - the logo does not really relate to oil & gas business - still see potential in varities. #32: too complex & too many different shapes. #31: like it - nice font - prefer second 'w' not being a capital - good 'energy', may suggest more subtile logo - see potential in varities. #30: Also nice - prefer second 'w' not being a capital - the 'ww'logo does make me think of a spring a bit - see potential in varities. #29: same. #28: color combination not so fine - like the attempt in splitting the 'W' - see potential in varities. #27: too 'happy' - looking for abstract / symbollic logos. #26: same comments as 28. #25: same comments as 28. #24: like the 3D effect - colours too strong - prefer 2nd 'w' to b not a capital - see potential in varities. #23: logo does not really fit the industry - fine color combination. #22: logo does not really fit the industry - black/blue color combination I do not prefer. #21: too complex - too much going on. #20: too complex - too much going on. #19: too complex - too much going on. #13: like that idea with the W a lot - prefer stronger font type (blue part) - nice abstract idea - see potential in varities. #12: Overall not what I am looking for. #11: nice font type - black & white suggestion also looks quite good - overlay of the droplet over the font I like - see potential in varities. #10: too flower-like - nice font type - see potential in varities. #09: same as 10. #08: too crowded. #07: too crowded. #04: too crowded. #03: donkey-head to commonly used - looking for abstract ideasn- color combination not so fine. #02: too crowded. #01: logo does not really fit the industry - see other comments.
Summary:
I like ideas like the W in #13, or other attemps that can and have been made with single or double 'w's. Strong modern font types I like over old-school. color combinations I am not so sure of. Concept also needs to look good in b&w. No clear indicators like donkey-head, screwdrivers, etc. Logo may 'hint'to oil and gas industry (work in gas and oil wells).
Many thanks,
Tijs
