Dear Hamdi thank you very much, i like design #16 with the coloured social media logo's, excellent!
I trust that we can adapt by ourselves the name of certain navigator bars, right? Not sure yet if we should add About in all cases on the top navigator bar...
Excellent the allergy icon vectors! Only small chyange, could you change the order of appearance? lactose free, dairy free, wheat free, gluten free, oat free, egg free, tree nut free, peanuts free, soybeans free, sesame free, corn free, fish free, crustacean free and vegan and vegetarian, thank you for those logo's they look awesome!
Do you think we can select 2 allergens simultaneously? We probably have to first define it in the background first..
Re. the products selection, would it be possible to make it in the same way as you did with the allergen filter? We will just put names of manufacturers but it should look as nice (blue bars with content) as the allergen one. We will fill out the content later on.
Thank you all 3 designers who have participated to this project. We are about to finalize the design of Hamdi but need some small changes to be put in before we can really click the button finalize.
Hamdi congratulations, you won this design contest.
Seperately we will be in contact with Hamdi to finalize the design.
#11
Thank you timefortheweb for your design.
I like the use of the allergen buttons, they are attractive but your daily routine and the several sections of the navigation bar are more important as that is providing the selection people will go through first. The buttons can be used with the allergen filter or allergen search.
I liked the colours used of your first design #3 better....
#8
Thanks for your design.
It is very colourful and you make good use of colours, but to me it's a bit too many. We want to go for a bit minimal but functional in colouring. I liked the line with allergen filters.
#9 my absolute favourite till now
Thanks for your quick and professional work Hamdi!
I like the colours used for the side panels, of #9 more than of #10.
I think the small twitter thing and the ties connecting the navigator bars are cute...
No need to resize the search function.
I think this design can still be slightly enhanced by the following small changes:
character size of top navigation bar: could you make this slightly bigger like Your daily routine? And also divide the bars more equally over the whole top?
Could you add a printer button on top aswell?
On the free from website template we can max. use a row of 3 products instead of the 5 you display, would you be able to change that in your example?
#9
- Color changes to the side panels.
- Equal size of filters input.
#10
- Another color to the side panels. And I removed the rope and ornaments too.
- Filters input same as before, because I think the filter will be able to resize according to the content (see technical note under the designs).
#6 and #7
Excellent work Hamdi!
I liked the set up now with the navigation, it is exactly as we want. Perhaps you can also show me a design with left hand navigation in same colour set up as top navigation, perhaps this looks even more modern and minimal (what i like). Just to see difference. Same for bottom navigation...
Re. search function on allergen type, looks good will i able to adapt languages later on? So icon separate from name of allergen type?
Could you perhaps make the search functions Allergen Type and Manufacturer/Products and the part where you mention e.g. vegetable drinks a bit wider so they are equally wide displayed over the screen?
Very excited!
Although of course it would be nice to see more designers participate to have more choice...
draft #5
i should have given it 4 stars, it is really going in the right direction now. Thank you Hamdirizal!
I like:
use of light blue background
lettertype on top and on limited offer etc.
top part looks excellent, clean, simple, good overview.
like login procedure for shop
like green colour when clicking product
liked possibilities re. product add to cart, wish list etc.
Changes i'd like to see:
see comments of P below re. icons.http://stockazoo.com/vector-icons/vector-allergen-icons-free-download/ (only gluten free is not included yet in these icons, could you make up one in this style?)
could they be integrated in the search function on top, meaning: where you mentioned products, please change to allergen filter (first item in drop down menu). Perhaps you can add another search function part (as the former one is very wide)that features manufacturer and product.
could you change top navigation bars to Home, About Us, About Allergies and Intolerances and Contact?
Could you take the left hand navigation part more to the top so that it comes just below Home it becomes more compact this way. This means the picture must be displayed slightly less broad...(because left hand navigation bar is limiting this..)
Could you please use the texts that we use like your daily routine, breakfast etc. for the left hand navigation bars?
Delete the contact part from the left hand navigation bar, is there a clean way to bring it to the top part (Contact?)
Twitter or blog inclusion on left hand or right hand side...
If you're having trouble opening the documents, please check the link to this website http://www.nomu.co.za/home. This gives you a good impression of the style we like: simple, clean and functional.
For the allergy-icons google 'allergy icons', this gives you an impression of what we are looking for.
I you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, we'll try to answer as quickly as possible ;-)
Thank you Timefortheweb for your comment; we'll check the upload of the images ;-)
Thank you Hamdirizal for your newest design, it's going in the right direction ;-)
Here's some general comments (also to be noted for other designers who want to step in):
I saw you added the filter-button, but we would like it to be a little bit different: please add specific icons for every single allergen, like mentioned in the previeous comment. The filter buttons deserve a prominent place in the template because our target group is people with allergies and intolerances.
What I like in design #3 is the fact that it's a bit broader, which gives it a more spacious feel
Furthermore please add icons for facebook, twitter and LinkedIn
I like the different search-options for products AND manufacturerers. Please incorporate these in the design.
Please note that we uploaded a new document which shows in what direction we want it to go, reg. simplicity and style.
Also we want to integrate a search-function; therefore we would like you to add some buttons/icons. Using the icons the clients can select their required filters for searching the products that are right for them: glutenfree, lactosefree, wheatfree, dairyfree, soyfree, yeastfree, nutfree, peanutfree, eggfree, vegan, vegetarian.(for examples, please google 'allergy icons')."
Please only use images provided by the project holder. If in case source of images has not been provided, you are requested to use images from “www.thinkstockphotos.com”.
Images used from any other website or source will not be accepted. In case you are using images from “www.thinkstockphotos.com”, please make sure to keep a record of image ID numbers as contest winners will be required to provide those ID's.
Furthermore, designers are requested only to use system fonts on all web design projects, files with non-system fonts will not be accepted.
DESIGNERS ARE STRICTLY ADVISED TO ABIDE TO THESE RULES. STRICT ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN IN CASE OF ANY VIOLATION.
Thanks!

Usually the designers only provide PSD data. Do you need coding as well?
