Drafts 211, 212, 221, 222, 223 & 244: I really like these drafts. I finally realized what I like about them. They have a similar look to the fonts and feel used by the movie "Terminator". A movie about futuristic high tech machines, built from an almost indestructible metal.
That is similar to what we want to communicate. Hi-tech and strength.
I also like the tagline (We Host Your Software) above the company name and in metallic grey. I like the slogan below the company name and in the same metallic grey, except for the word "Anywhere" - I like it in the metallic blue.
Even though this project has been extended 3 days, I don't plan on waiting three days to pick a winner. I need to wrap this up because I have other projects that are waiting on this logo.
Adobe Photoshop images is not vector, it has limit for scaling the picture, if to big it will blur.
I hope you understand this circumstances.
Thank you.
Good luck to all designer.
Draft #152: Thanks for your submission. I like the color combinations and the metallic look. The symbol is very unique, but I don't like it for our company. Can you try another symbol?
Drafts 148-150: These are very cool. I like the symbol. #149 is my favorite. Could you make a revision to make the "R" in the symbol look less like a "2" and more like an "R". All night long and into part of this morning I kept asking myself, "Why did they make a symbol with "V2". It wasn't until just a little while ago that I realized it was an "R"
This project ends in 25 hours (tomorrow @ about 1pm U.S. Eastern time - GMT -5). I will be out of the office tomorrow morning up until about 12 noon (GMT -5) so any final tweaking needs to be done today.
Draft 144 & 145: Love the symbol. It is simple but very cool. Has a metallic look to it and is unique. I think it will become easily recognizable over time. Can you show me a few more versions with different fonts in the text. I prefer not to have the tag line and the slogan on the same line. I sort of like have the tag line just above the company name and the slogan below it, but anything you come up with regarding the positioning of those is welcome. Also, could you try a more metallic look for the company name as well as some different fonts. Looking for something that communicates strength and has a "shiny new" feel to it.
Draft #127: The symbol looks like it could be related to a medical company. The "V" in the symbol with the dot in the middle of it, sort of looks like a person with their hands in the air. Also, don't like the little squares floating out of it.
Drafts 128 & 129: I like these designs. However, they also have that "medical" feel to them. I suppose it is the "V" with the dot on top that makes it look like a person with their arms raised. Also, could you dress up the initials "VR" a bit, so they are not quite so plain.
Drafts 130-132: Thanks Boston32 for these. Draft 131 is my favorite. I love the font used for the name and the color combinations. Could you redesign the symbol so that it is a bit easier to know what it is. Some of the people, when they initially saw it said, "what is it?"; "is it a plane?" I had to tell them that it was our initials "VR", and then they saw it. I would like to see a version where that is clear.
Draft 133: I think this is an improvement over draft 116, but the people here still don't really like the symbol. I think you may need to try something totally different for the symbol.
Draft 134: See my comments on drafts 128 & 129. I like the square symbol, but not the clouds in the square.

Draft #82 and variation by tomcost have been taken down.
Drafts 123-126: Very nice. Could I see 123 and 125 with the image above the company name? Also, could I see 123 & 124 with the "swoosh" that goes through the word "virtual" being thinner and one set with no "swoosh" at all? I think the thick one makes it just a bit challenging to read. Lastly, could I see a version of 125 that does not have the "roof" over the "V"?
Drafts 97-100: Thanks for all of these drafts, they are all really cool. I am getting some feedback from the folks here that they don't like the "flying carpet". Could we see a set without the carpet? If you have any other ideas, that would be great too.
Drafts 101-105: thanks for all of these versions. My favorite among them is 105.
Drafts 106: I really like this design. However the folks here think it is too playful. We are leaning more towards a "strong business" brand. I will keep this draft rated at 4 stars and plan to present it with the others for a final vote among customers and other folks we know.
Drafts 107-109: I really like 107 and 108. Not so much on 109. Could you change 107 and 108 to close the gap between the words "Virtual" and "Roof" - it should be one word. After that I would like to see a couple more variations. I would like to see a set with a smaller "V" graphic. The way it is not seems to overwhelm the company name. I would also like to see a set with the lower half of the gray "diamond" cut off, so that it is left as a triangle or more of a "roof" look.
Drafts 110-114: I really like the clean look of 110. However I am being advised that I should have a symbol. So, we are leaning more towards draft #112. Could you submit a version of that one without the mouse and the "flying carpet"? I also liked 114 (cool idea with the "R"). However, I was told it is too difficult to read. Could you try that one again and get rid of the flying carpet.
Drafts 115 & 116: I like the double cloud in 116 better than the one in 115. The folks here are not too crazy about the graphic "V" symbol. Could you try to come up with some other symbol?
Drafts 118-120: Don't like the symbol in 118 & 119. It's too busy. Too many things going on there. I like 120, but I don't like the little squares coming out of the side of the "V".
Drafts 121 & 122: I don't like the addition of the mice. Could you submit another draft of 96 with the tag line and the slogan in smaller print. They sort of cover up the actual company name.
Thanks everyone for your submissions and hard work.
